The music in the background is so bad ass, I wish I could keep listening to the same three measures over and over and over and over and over and over. hahahaha

Nice sheath. I would flare out a place for your thumb to push on to make extraction of the knife effortless and quiet at any speed and I would have moved the belt strap one more eyelet closer to the point of the knife to make the knife more stable and rigid on the belt. You want your knife to not move or jiggle around on your belt. Just a couple of helpful suggestions for you.

Cool sheath. I just subscribed. Your links weren't popping up on the screen

You can mold a piece of PVC gutter in same way, and get similar results (minus kydex legendary resistance ofc). It's a good idea to practice with way cheaper PVC before moving to kydex :)

Another option is to learn with boneyard material. This way you can use real Kydex, Holstex, or Boltaron at a substantial discount. Look here for details: www.holstersmith.com/vcom/specials-c-916.html

What are the screw and post lengths for attaching the strap to the holster! I can't find the information anywhere. It looks like 1/4 post and 3/8 inch screws but I want to be sure before purchasing.
@KnifeKits3 жыл бұрын
Hi Desmond. Thank you for watching. We normally use a 1/4 slotted post for most IWB strap attachments. We're generally using the eyelet hole to pass it through. A 3/8 screw will work on most, but you can go with anything longer and trim it down if needed. Here they are will hardware included.... www.holstersmith.com/vcom/mountings-belt-loops-iwb-c-547_412.html Let us know if you need more help!

What hardware do I need in addition to the IWB strap?? I was thinking of using chicago screws for the whole sheath instead of eyelets.
@atlantavirtual69125 жыл бұрын
The barrel on the standard Chicago screw post is a little long to use without modifying it. You may have to file both it, and the screw, down, just to get it to pinch the material tightly. But it is possible to build it with Chicago screws. Eyelets are the only way to go if you're going to do more than one, though.

This configuration is for horizontal carry. Not IWB. smh
@steveandrews22344 жыл бұрын
I don't believe that I mentioned this as an IWB configuration. If you mean the fact that I call the loops IWB's, that is what they are. The full name would be IWB Soft Loops, but they are called IWB's, IWB loops, and soft loops. Since the original IWB's were made of leather or rubber, we simply called them IWB's, and I still refer to all versions of IWB loops as IWB's from time-to-time.
