I ordered a star bright shampoo and this conditioner. Tried it for the first time today and it's WOW! My hair is chin length, colored, straight, tends to frizz in high humidity and hot weather, and cannot tolerate any heavy oils and silicones. When I rinsed out this conditioner, I finally understood what the expression "silky hair" means. No heaviness, no greasy effect, just clean smooth shiny hair! And the smell is amazing! I luv this recipe.I havent made anything yet but have done alot of reading and watching videos.Dont quote me on this but one article stated that anhydrous like say body cream because its only oil content it doesnt really absorb into our skin and only acts as a barrier to lock in the bodys oown water content and eventually causing scaling skin.U wonder whjether this conditioner bar absorbs easier into the hair shaft cause it has water moreso then a bar without water.Just saying.I wonder????

This will work great for brunettes as well, but if you don't need the added moisture you can use all mango butter and no shea butter.

1 st thing I did was thumbs up 👍🏾 cause I know sunshine soap & candle company delivers some of the best DIY products. I’m on it because I’m all out of conditioner and really wanted a recipe that can handle my 4 c hair type, as I find that the typical conditioner bar offers no slip on my hair so with all these added silk and stuff I’m hoping it will deliver some kindness to my hair.
