Wonderful video thank you for sharing. It makes me realized the treasures we have in the Caribbean. My grandmother told me during world war 2 when no shipments came in the people made flour from breadfruit. I didn't realize it was so simple.

You are welcome. To make the flour the breadfruit cannot be ripe or soft. If you look at my video you would notice that the breadfruit is not soft but firm still.

You should try using a cutting board so that the leading edge of your knife doesn't get as dull as the trailing edge. With a sharp knife you won't have to saw through the breadfruit as you've done.

Hi Candice, the breadfruit is a little ripe but not too ripe where it becomes mushy. As you can see in the video it is still firm.
