Made from 2x10's with stops on the ends, these make for great ramps to help level RV's and also raise the front of cars to work on them. #carramp #mechanic #woodworking

Little confused on the length of each piece. You started out cutting a piece at 3 FT ?? Is this the bottom piece , than 2.5 and 2 on top ???? I also have an RV 25' Jayco Redhawk looking to do the same..Great idea..

We have done a few on our other channel. DC Family Adventures. Not that many though, need to do more.

Why does it have to be level?

The RV works best when level for things like the slideouts and the fridge. We were at a campsite once and the fridge didnt work due to being unlevel.

What is the total height of your ramps? Nice video, thank you.

It is 4.5 inches high

Each 2'' x X" stud is 1.5 inches thick. His ramp has 3 layers so it is 4.5" inches high. For a car ramp, you want to have at least 6" inches high (all plastic ramp I have seen are 6 inches high). His purpose is different because he made the ramp to keep his RV level on his driveway (that is also why he used pressure-treated pine) so it can be any height that makes his RV level.
