I have same one like yours,have u ever tried vada batter? And using blender full speed i am so scared of,sounds like going to blast. And can we run machine for upto 3 minutes countiously?
@tamiltexanmom2 жыл бұрын
Hello VTA, Yes I have tried vada batter. You don’t have to do full speed. I do up to 6 or 7. And it’s better to stop 2 minutes in between so it won’t heat up. Hope this helps. Thanks for visiting my channel.

What is the maximum number of cups of idli rice we can grind at one time using Vitamix?
@bharat-anand Жыл бұрын
@tamiltexanmom, I tried to translate Tamil to English/Hindi audio/subtitles but just couldn't. However just going thru the steps to prepare the batter in your video, I'm convinced that this is the blender to go with. Thank you very much!

Can we grind dry coconut and full coconut for chutney?
@tamiltexanmom Жыл бұрын
Yes you can. But it’s better if it’s more in quantity so it grinds well in my experience.

I note that there are 2 types of containers. One is for Juice and another for Grain. Which one did you use? Thanks in advance for your response.

Mine came with a large container which is 48 ounce. I use that for any batter making and juicing.

Is this 48oz or 64 oz . Wanted to get one for this Thanks Giving.

Just add enough to cover rice and dal. Don’t add too much as it turns watery. Thanks

Hi. This is a great video as I am currently stuck between the decision to buy a Vitamix 5200 for 300 or a Preethi blue leaf mixie for $150.even thought of getting the premier small wonder portable from India for stone grinding. How long can you run it continuously before it starts to warm up the batter?
@tamiltexanmom2 жыл бұрын
Hello Ajit, Thank you 😊 I usually stop between every 2 minutes. Hope this helps.
@Spartan1912tam2 жыл бұрын
@@tamiltexanmom thank you for the answer. Just couple more questions. From personal experience, do you consider the Preethi blue leaf to be reliable enough for most Indian cooking recipes? I know its warranty is not long-term in USA like in India. Or would you recommend to spend extra $150 and get the Vitamix 5200 currently on sale?
@tamiltexanmom2 жыл бұрын
@@Spartan1912tam sorry I don’t know about Preethi blue leaf. I got the vitamix because my family loves smoothies and Vitamix is the best for making smoothies than making in our Indian mixie. So that’s what I would recommend.

From my experience, I would suggest a wet grinder than blender. Batter grinded by stone is better, than blended by blades. This is just my personal opinion.

You know attu kal is the best!!! Wasting 1 hr in the grinder and cleaning those heavy stones is a tedious process!!! Lets make life easier for ladies!!!
@YenUlagam5 ай бұрын
@@monishasekar4716 How did you vaguely judge I’m thinking about aatu kal? Did I mention in my comment like that? By the way, portable wet grinders were invented to make life easy for women. As you’ve mentioned, to clean grinder can be wasting & tedious for you. That’s purely your understanding.

What kind of rice did you use? Try idly rice and grind until the batter is smooth. Also keep overnight to ferment.
