Watching and listening while tears run down my face, remembering being in the kitchen and helping my mama go through some of these same ingredients and steps, I haven't tried doing this since she passed, (almost 10 years ago) but watching you do this and hearing you instruct, has giving me the desire to get in there and make it happen again! This time its gonna be the 3 of us cooking , Me and Mama (in spirit) with you on the video...Thank you so much! I gotta subscribe and comeback later because I'm too full of tears, right now! By the way my mom name was Mary Jane , and was called Mae as well, and wow! She use to say the same as your Mom! "If I could just help one person along this journey " MY GOD!!! If we all thought the same.... I have overly enjoyed listening to you, but I gotta get away right now...from now on you're gonna be my mom when I'm cooking, take care and God bless you...

I was so confused as to y it was taking so long to cook. I googled hen prepping and learned that it is a older chicken and the meat is tougher and it is used in soups more. My Mom and sister use to cook their dressing like you do, but would cook the hen in the middle of the dressing. Oh how so good. My mom died 7 year ago and my sister has dementia. So I'm trying to learn how to cook dressing. Your channel is such a blessing!

Thank you MaeMae for your recipes! You are truly a blessing to me and I'm sure others. My mother passed and I have no grandmother's alive to teach me so I'm trying to learn on my own and you are most definitely helping me. Some people aren't willing to share their family recipes. However you are and that is a blessing! Thank you for taking your time out to share with us! Be blessed!

Mrs. Mae Mae, you made my heart feel so special this evening when I found your channel. It was like I was cooking with my mom and grandma again. I loss my dear mommy thirty years ago and my grandmother about six years before my mom. It's coming up on the Holiday seasons and it is always hard. But watching your video brought me a special joy today. I have subscribed to your channel and will be watching you more. My Family is originally from Louisiana, and We All Love To Cook. God Bless Happy Thanksgiving

You are a dear sweet lady and a blessing! Just found you today and so glad I did. My aunt made this dressing and taught me how and I'd never seen anybody else do it that way. Brought me beautiful memories today. She's with the Lord now just passed a few months ago but thank God she left us with such great Holiday Memories of being at Aunt Georgia's. You are a very precious lady and God is using you to touch many!

Mama Mae you have earned the right to repeat yourself as often as you feel the need. Your dressing reminds me of my granny’s dressing. She didn’t put the chicken inside her dressing either. My granny gave me my beginning cooking classes. Also, I appreciate your humor; “I don’t like it running down the freeway, not stiff as a board!” Lol 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you❤️😇
