I have been through many recipes for this the last few days. Keep coming back to here. I find that yours suits me best. The procedure 👍 and showing the actual tamarind tree 👍 Now, in a matter of minutes I will know about the flavour 😉 or I simply make some adjustments 😉

I have been boiling my tambrand sauce for over a hour and trying to add sugar and salt to break the sour taste . you make it look so easy
@laurafordesvideos5 жыл бұрын
If your tamarind is very sour then you would have to add more sugar. What you can do next time is try and get the sweet tamarind that they sell in the box. Because it is already sweet you would not have to add a lot of sugar. Thanks for watching!

@laurafordesvideos7 ай бұрын
You can eat it with Doubles (see here kzbin.info/aero/PL0VEnJEtRFJXakDniPCuJiGAaxMGFPCx4&si=X89kVxWYBfEGPlyE) or as a dip for fish cakes. Stay tuned for one of my up coming videos on how I made tuna cakes. You can also use it on fried fish as well.

With a great source of plants and even bird pepper I'm guessing that you are in the tropics. I am not going to assume that you are Trini because the accent is none existent. Great recipe and very easy to follow. Thanks

Yes I am in the tropics and yes I am Trini. 😊 Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching!

Very Lovely, Thank you for sharing this very delicious recipe. I had a big tamarind tree in my back yard when I was a child, however we didn't know anything about a tamarind chutney back then let alone to make it yet we had all the natural ingredients growing around us outside. The only herb I have never known before watching your wonderful video is the 'Chadon Beni' . This is the flavour I could never figure what it is This is a must find and I will be checking /asking at the Caribbean groceries for it and make my tamarind sauce by your directions. Can you do a recipe on how to make pholourie. Thank You very much.

You are welcome. Please let me know how it turns out. I will try try and post a pholourie recipe for you.

Why don't blend the ingrediënt before you put it in the tambrind
@laurafordesvideos3 жыл бұрын
Remember you would also want to blend the tamarind in order to get a smooth consistency so to save on multiple blends you can just do everything together.
