Thanks John, a very useful set of videos covering a topic I have always shied away from but want to incorporate into my projects...BTW, I'm curious whether you use slabs or walls for your footings...and if either one makes it easier for doing the step footing like you have on your model...

Thanks for the comment, I'm glad your finding the videos useful! I typically use beams for footings, especially the stepped ones, but walls can work as well. If it's a stripe footing I prefer using a linear object. Only time I'll use a slab for a footing is if it it's a mass/mat foundation or a very strange shape. Columns I'll use for column foundations :)
