Im not quite sure why you dont use other paints than the kinda thick GW colores, so you wouldnt need to thin them down.

I have worked with some thinner paints and sometimes they are just too thin. Over time I have found, the paints slowly thicken so I am back to thinning them again anyway. If I am doing a wash or glaze there is a lot of thinning. If I going to cover an area I go with just a little thinning with a GW paint.
