This guy is truly the best youtube miniature painter I've seen. Compared to at least 6 different channels I watch who instruct on how to paint, he is the most thorough and detail-oriented, and keeping the painting relatively real-time shows his entire process very well. I just hope his channel isn't dead since he hasn't posted anything recently... Please come back Mezgike!

"talent is a love for a thing." If you just start painting, and don't stress the mistakes, you'll get there with time. Less time than you'd think, probably, too. And worst case, you can always repaint, strip the kit, or paint over any old jobs you're not happy with. I hope you stay motivated!

This literally happened to me with the Space Marine custom chapter rules in 4th ed. Rendered half my *brand new* >$600 army useless overnight and I was finished with conversions and half way done painting. And people wonder why I sold all my GW stuff and told them to fuck off. . .

Really great job! Not only are all your miniatures painted and converted to a super high level but your explanation on your painting technique is very easy to understand and follow. I love this color scheme on the plague marine, in my opinion this is how they should look. I think the games workshop painters make them look to clean and bright but hey to each his own. Keep up the fantastic work!

@@Bacxaber I would usually batch paint 5 or 10 marines at once. with nurgle it used to be the converting that was the most time consuimg as all we had for a very long time was 5 plague marine sculpts. this meant you had to get creative. I would use like the odd torso or should pad, head etc from plague marine set and the rest would be converted from plague marines and regular marines. we had a process of cutting the abdomen out of the plastic marine to sculpt bloat and stuff. (the bloated stomach was like a signature look for plague marines at one point) I've not done anything for like 10 years though, just looking to get back into it with all the amazing new kits and paints.

Mezgike I’m blown away by how good you are, how well you’re explaining the purpose of glazes, edge highlighting and some colour theory of cold and warm... and the end result is mind blowing. It actually makes me feel like I could do some of this because how well you’ve shown it. Some other painting ‘tutorials’ are so far from what’s happening, I might as well be listening to a pod cast of them. But these videos are perfect.

I always base my plasma coils with mephiston red, layer with wazdakka red, highlight with trollslayer orange, then fine highlight with white scar, for the OSL glow I glaze wazdakka red over wherever I want the glow the strongest and glaze Khorne Red where the glow will be very dull
