I am so grateful that you decided to upload this. I am sitting in the enterprise parking lot and could not find how to sync bluetooth. I was ready to resign to using an aux cord but decided to check KZbin. What a terrible UI in this van. As if I or anybody else needs an additional reason not to buy a Dodge they go and throw us another one for good measure. It really leaves me curious what these four days driving this might have in store for me. Thanks again for that video! Priority level 3 choice was hilarious. I actually lol'd. This is the dumbest process I've ever seen for pairing a phone to a vehicle's radio. I also couldn't figure it out, and I rent vehicles weekly for work. I finally just drove away from Enterprise pissed off and having to turn my phone up as loud as I could to hear it over the rain. Dodge needs to seriously work on their user interface's ease of use. It's not intuitive at all. The BMW X3 I rented last week was far simpler than this thing.

Luke Barnes I understand it's a Chrysler hardware/software implementation--I did not intend to imply it was exclusive to Dodge. I've only had to deal with Dodge specifically through Enterprise, so that's what my whine was targeting.

Hey after pairing how do you stream music like one can with bluetooth headphones? Touch screen has am FM sat but not bluetooth. Edit: press media button then aux tab. Edit 2: OMG, massive 2 second audio lag when watching movies, its like watching dubbed 1970s kung foo movies...

Well it is a leftover from 2007. This is Chrysler's old MyGig infotainment system. It has since been replaced in most new Chrysler vehicles. Some vehicles that are going to be either discontinued (like The Caravan) or replaced with a new generation (like the Wrangler) still use the old MyGig system. Its pointless to redesign a vehicle to support the new UConnect system, if it's going away.

I'm a damn enterprise EMPLOYEE and I didn't know this for months. I drive these things every day, you think they'd be a little more user friendly than this. On top of this Bluetooth issue, you can't just plug in your iPod and listen to music that way. You need to plug in a flash drive and transfer your music into an hdd in the head unit........ Who the fuck had that idea

Great video that only needed to be made to mitigate a wasteful inefficient UI process. I could have done this on a touch screen in 2 minutes, yet spent at least 10 navigating through unknown voice menus, overriding older phones, and endlessly repeating myself to the system.

Oddly enough even if you get the 430/430N/730N radio, or even if a 2007-era Chrysler radio like this or with the 130/130S/230S ones with phone buttons, it does NOT mean it comes with Bluetooth, which is why it doesn't say so on the radio, because you CAN get these radios WITHOUT Bluetooth (they're Bluetooth-ready, BUT if you hit the buttons for the phone system in a vehicle that is not so equipped, you'll get a 'U Connect Phone Not Available' message onscreen... I had a 2008 Dodge Charger base model once for a rental and it had the buttons but no Bluetooth... pretty stupid if you ask me... it's a tedious process to pair to these, but it's gotten better with the newest "U-Connect" radios... my dad's 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee has the 8.4 radio with navigation, and it's a simple touch of the 'Phone' icon, and then it'll ask you if you want to add a phone if none are present/paired... no recording a name for the phone or anything like this one in the Grand Caravan... but on the plus side, these "older" radios DO support Bluetooth streaming of audio via A2DP, so you're not left out from listening to your favorite tunes wirelessly in an "older" vehicle (or rather, "older design" vehicle like the Grand Caravan). :)

Rented one of those to drive up to the San Francisco Bay area to pick up a couch. I had the same problem pairing my phone. Had to look it up on youtube. Is that the one with the gear shifter on the upper right hand side of the steering wheel on the dashboard. The one I rented also had a DVD player, and a 40 gig hard drive.

Uconnect - so the 'missing piece' is once the system in in pairing mode, to hit refresh on your phone and find the Uconnect listing. (I had to watch another video to find that minor detail)
