I have been diagnosed with psoriactic arthritis and doctors put me on a tramazac and cortisone course for another few weeks. I started researching (mainly on youtube at the hospital) and did the IF and low carb (not keto). My constant streaming of medical yt and podcasts led me to you and i bought the plant paradox 2 days ago. Thank you for properly finetuning my diet (was still eating whole almonds, chia seeds, almond milk, zuchini with skin etc). Your list allowed me to remove 7 items from my diet. I did lose weight in january alone 13kg, and was hoping healing the gut was already starting. Now i have the courage to wait some more and keep avoiding the cortisone, diclofenac and nexiums of this world. Thanks doctor

So interesting. My mother always peeled and de-seeded tomatoes. It was the only way I have ever had them. She peeled them raw actually. A bit tricky but she had it down to an art.

if you are taking out the seeds of a slightly juicy tomato, put it in a strainer over a bowl, while digging the seeds out with your fingers, then the juice of the tomato comes through the strainer, and you can use that juice in many ways...

Hi there! A lectin is a plant protein that the plant uses to defend itself. This protein can lead to problems in our body like brain fog, joint aches and digestive issues- just to name a few! Dr. Gundry recommends following a lectin-free lifestyle to help your overall health. If you want to learn more about lectins, you can find more information by visiting our blog and reading our nutrition articles!

"Tomatoes also contain lectins, though there is currently no evidence that they have any negative effects in humans. The available studies have been conducted on animals or in test tubes. In one study in rats, tomato lectins were found to bind to the gut wall, but they didn't appear to cause any damage" "Some research seems to indicate that taking in large quantities of raw lectins could have negative health effects. The amount you’d need to consume each day to get to that level, however, is much higher than a typical diet would include. And studies have shown that lectins break down when processed or cooked, so the risk of adverse health effects arising from lectin-rich foods that aren’t raw is not cause for concern." Scaremongering. Lectins ok unless YOUR doctor tells you no. Not some youtube doctor. Sort of like gluten. If youre healthy, dont worry about it... remember, this Doctor wants to sell you stuff. This is a commercial..

Hi Milos! While there are many great benefits of following a lectin-free diet (like a boost in energy and improved gut health!) the preference of following this lifestyle is up to you. We recommend consulting with your primary care physician to discuss a plan that works best for your health.

I think he should put more effort in talking about the real poison we eat, like margarine and mayonnaise, because it's mostly vegetable oil and vegetable oil WILL kill you a tomato now and then isn't going to kill you, even white bread has vegetable oil in it, so eat souer dough bread, but stay away from vegetable oil
