Please do a video about calling Computer shops and trying to get free computer parts. That is how I was able to afford to get into PC gaming. The shops near me gave me the old computers for free if I could just haul them off. I got my first CPU (i7 920), ram (4gb dddr3), power supply (400w Power Man) and fans (dell oem 120mm fans).

Such a nice detailed and simple way to help others in beginning to PC building. I'll recommend it to others whenever they want to start out :)

Hard to argue with these suggestions. I think for GPUs on an even tighter budget might want to consider the r9 280/280x. Very old cards but have aged well due to the GCN architecture and the continued driver support.

Your right, those are some great cards and will help people save even more money. The important thing is that nobody buys a GT 710, GT 210, GT 730 or GT 610, or basically anything in the GT series

Yep that is a good tip for those on a tighter budget, I think a lot of people when looking for a AMD GPU search RX but forget to search R9, so there can be some great bargains for this reason

Always call nearby computer shops. Often you can get power supplies, fans and cases for really cheap and/or free.

with the current gpu pricing crisis atm, if you choose a AMD ryzen APU (ie ryzen 3200g) you can assign the graphics on your processor upto 2gb of your system ram and use the intergrated graphics as a better option than a GT 710, GT 210, GT 730, GT 610 or GT 1030 as a stand in until the prices begin dropping again

Great bit of advice! Even better if people can grab a Ryzen 4750G. They're only available on sites like eBay and Aliexpress, but they're pretty much the best APUs available.

Beware X79 and X99 systems. The processors are often surprisingly cheap but the motherboards are blooming expensive.

Intel is never budget. It's a one-off or two-off niche item with some minor improvements offered with the requirement you need to start all over again. Don't let the "cheep at this time" fool you, it's how coke dealers get new customers all the time. My Intel builds :) are alllllll used systems. I've no desire to touch them otherwise. At least their process makes their 'last gen' equipment junk so you can get it cheep.
