Hi dr. Thanks a lot for this great information. I was diagnosed with diabetes in September 2020. My A1c was 7.1 that time. After dieting, intermittent fasting it came down to 5.7 in December 2020. I lost nearly 30 lbs. But what I noticed if I have 2 meals a day, sometimes I feel very low. That time I check my glucose on my glucometer and it shows like 87 . Is it because of hypoglycemia. If I take food I feel better. I am not on any diabetic medication . I am afraid to have more meals a day because of gaining weight and again increasing my diabetes which is now normal. Pls help. Hello Doc good morning. I wanted to diet and from 2 months now I will be taking my blood chemistry. Yesterday I only eat, less rice and 1 boiled egg in the morning, and then a tasty bread and coffee for lunch then I took my medicines for uric acid like Atenurix and also 1st time I take fish oil, and in the afternoon I took steamed chicken and a lots of broccoli and then after 1 hour, I am extremely shaking and sweating, I have a panic disorder but when I testy blood sugar I was shocked that my blood sugar was only 64 and the thing is I am not hungry. After that I eat sugars and candies. I do not know yet if I have diabetes but when I check my Blood sugar in the morning it's 80, 86, 96 and not exceeding 100, after meals the highest was 160. I have consumed 4 bottles of test strips (100) and this is my first time to encounter 64 blood sugar at 530pm. Is fish oil can cause hypoglycemia or lower blood sugar? And today morning when I wake up, I checked my blood sugar before meals it's 84. Can you help me what's the cause? Thank you Doc. From the Philippines 🇵🇭
