Worked great! Had an issue with the store giving me the wrong battery. They gave me a 2016 instead of a 2032, turns out the only difference is the thickness of the battery, same voltage. I put 2 pennies under it (which happen to be the same diameter as the battery) and it works just fine!

My envoy 2002 don’t recognize the key fob, I don’t know what else I can do, I have tried many times to do this but it would not recognize the key fob 😢

i have a 2005 gmc envoy. suddenly the key fobs stopped working. then i noticed the radio would turn off when the key was turned off, also the rear wiper would not work. i went to the rear hatch, lifted it up, looked up, found the rubber boot running from the hatch to the vehicle body, took a flat screw driver and pushed on the clip of the white ring at the bottom of the rubber boot ( it has this white ring at both ends of the rubber boot) to release the rubber boot from the vehicle so it would expose the wires. after i released both ends of the rubber boot , i started pulling on each wire as if i were trying to pull the wire out of the rubber boot. i pulled on the blue wire and out it came.... broken completely in two. i reconnected the blue wire backed together and presto everything worked great again. didnt even have to reprogram the key fobs.

You will need to re-program your original remotes during the procedure.

It needs to be the factory gm remote or a remote that is compatible with the factory gm remote FCC ID.

You need to program them both during the procedure. If you take a look at the programming steps in the description box of the video, take note of step 11

You just need your regular ignition key

My 04 envoy wouldn’t program and the rear wiper stopped I looked at the wires like the other guy said and it all works the key fob programmed and works also rear wiper working now too

yes it should work - you might want to try replacing the fob battery

What I need to know and what every single one of these damn videos doesn't cover is how to specify driver 1vs driver2 for the remotes. Sure this covers how to simply program them to lock and unlock doors, but not how to make one for driver 1 and one for driver 2....

there is no additional programming needed for driver #'s - the order in which you program the remotes in determines driver #
