Assuming your tires are reasonable, THE very first requirement of a production car is to sort the suspension. Any tyre that can generate higher lateral g force will deform the suspension, often to the point that the new tyres are destroyed on one edge (usually the outter) after only a very few laps.

First for my 370Z I did the long tubes headers, exhaust and cold air intake with a tune with admin. Now I’m building the brake system and transmission on the top. I feel like it was missing little bit of spice in the engine bay. I also did tire first of all with larger ones. But your build diagram is very nice and accurate! You give me some futur mods that I didn’t thought.

Hey Louis, I think you're very much going to appreciate the next vide. I will be going over all of the fluids for this car and service items. I hear you with the rust. Canadian winters aren't gentle on cars and it sure shows after a couple years of use, hence why maintenance and upkeep is so important.

I've always had great results with BC racing coilovers. They are affordable coilovers, fully adjustable, they come with a warranty, and I've had no problems with any of mine, and I've had them on 3 of my cars. I can't say anything bad about them 👍
@jafxdwg3 жыл бұрын
Weight Saving . I understand the significant improvements gained through lighter wheels and tires. Unsprung weight and improved handling etc. How much weight do you think you saved on the Mini, with the removal of the interior trim ? Seems like minimal savings. Like removing tire valve stem caps and the shifter knob. Do you think the gains are worth the effort.
@milanmastracci3 жыл бұрын
By just removing door panels, not too much weight is being shed, however when you change to aftermarket seats, you change steel hoods for carbon/fiberglass ones, you replace windows with Lexan, it does add up. For a daily driver, I wouldn't recommend it.

Not sure why the front drop pretty low it scrubs my inner fender liner...driving it's ok but just turning...if i turn slow it's ok...ur opinion is appreciate thanks
@milanmastracci3 жыл бұрын
Yeah my Skunk2 lowering springs do the same tbh. I'm going to be changing them out as I don't like how it rides. I think 2 inches is too much of a drop for these cars. Stock ride height isn't too pretty, so a 1" drop with springs or a complete swap to coilovers is the way to go IMO. Unfortunately there isn't anything we can do to make the ride less harsh with the setup we have.
