The color match is very good for most applications, and the ink is formulated within the tolerances of the Ricoh gel-based printhead used.

We use only the highest-quality dispersions to ensure good performance without clogging (providing the printer is not left sitting for many weeks/months unused). It is designed for the Ricoh printhead used in Sawgrass's SG400 and SG800 printers. Hi, I have an sg400... I refilled my cartridges with your ink. Cyan and black are working fine. But yellow and magenta give me this alert “ink depleted, used ink cartridge” can you help out with this? Thanks!

Our ink can mix with the original SubliJet-HD, so you can use your existing ink and then swap to ours, if you wish.

Our Performance-R ink is formulated with the highest quality dispersion, so clogging is really not a risk, unless the printer sits unused for longer than couple of weeks. The ink is designed to work with the Ricoh head used by Sawgrass in their SG400 printer.

Like with any sublimation ink, it is a good idea to use the printer (or print a nozzle check test page) every 1-2 weeks to keep the heads in good working order. However, our inks are formulated with the highest-quality dispersions and so, unless the printer sits unused for many months, clogging is not a risk with our inks.

For sublimation, we would recommend using the PowerDriver software for the most convenient and easiest way to handle color management. Of course, if a custom profile is needed, we have the capability to generate one, so feel free to contact us directly, if required.

Yes, our ink is designed to mix with original SubliJet ink. You don't need ICC profiles either as our ink is closely matched to the color of the SubliJet ink, so you can continue using the same software setup.

Although we obviously can't provide any warranty or support on inks that aren't ours, you are of course free to fill our cartridges with whatever ink you like. Of course, make sure whatever ink you use is explicitly marketed as compatible with SG400/800 as this is not the same kind of ink used in common Epson sublimation printers!
