Ive got a ps4 pro asking for the reinstallation file, bought a computer and usb and 5.0 hotspot to do it, but after weeks of trying it only downloads part of the ps4pup file and gives up, making me restart the whole download. Getting so frustrated.. paid extra for the fastest wifi with no luck 😢

So I helped my son with this and he needed the 11.50 version. Followed all this guys steps and it worked. it took the system twice to load it and after the second attempt it worked. But it does restart and delete everything, but if you have everything saved in the ps4 account then you just have to download everything again. But your games and friends can be transferred to the ps4 as long as everything was saved in your account before the corruption error

You need to find a compatible cable for your ps4 controller some cables do not work

There are sites where you can download firmwares like 9.00 and 11.00 aswell, i was on Fw 11.52 just like you, i intialized my PS4 and copied the 9.00 Fw file onto a USB and then plugged it into the PS4 and it worked! Do note however that it does take a couple of hours to intialize fully so make sure that the power doesn't go out during this downtime otherwise you may damage your PS4.

Seriously, what are you trying to do? Update your PS4 or re install system software? That seems logic, updating and reinstalling is not the same thing. You have to reinstall from 7. initialize ps4 (reinstall system software).

I did the same thing! it worked like a charm, please make sure that there are no power outages or something or the PS4 may get bricked while intializing, you can download the 9.00 Fw or the 11.00 Fw from certain sites and then copy them on your flash drive and plug them onto your PS4!

I was able to download the 9.00 Firmware and got my PS4 Jailbroken but make sure that you don't have frequent power outages or otherwise you may end up damaging your PS4.
