Good video, but I get a bit confused when I read about referred pain. What if the pain in the pec minor is actually referred pain? How do you know which other muscle(s) could also cause pain in that area? Thanks!

Thank you for the explanation. I tend to get the pain in the left side of my chest. I think in my case the pain starts usually when I am stressed. Does this make sense?

Yes! Stress definitely contributes to it a lot

Thank you, Do they come back after being released?
@valli123413 ай бұрын
After releasing the trigger points. Due to stress or weak muscles it may come back again. Try to do stretching excercises regularly.

Dr Oliver, can you demonstrate how to do deep breathing while releasing a trigger point? .. Breathing is So Important!!!

Hey I just had it done today to me - I was advised to take in one deep breath before the pressure is applied then slowly start exhaling the more the pressure is applied

You can get a lacrosse ball and lie on your back and put it back there
@bunsw20703 ай бұрын
I bought some fascia balls made by Tune Up Fitness. They're a little more expensive then generic Chinese balls but the quality is top notch. They're softer then lacrosse balls. Come in 3 sizes. Smaller balls apply more pressure. You can lay on them.
