This worked beautifully!! I didn’t have fishing line so I took 3 long pieces of dental floss and twisted them all together to make them stronger and it worked perfectly! Thank you so much for this 😊

Had a command strip on my ceiling for holiday decorations, I didn't have fishing line but polyester thread works really well too!

This worked perfectly. THANK YOU!!! I didn't have any fishing line so I decided to try the dental floss before I went out and bought it. The first floss I tried broke and when I went to put it away, I realized I had another kind of floss, so I decided to try it. This floss worked! (I now see the note about twisting 3 long pieces of dental floss together and I'll try that next time.)

OMG you have. no idea how muchI needed this..unfortunately ruined my ceilnig by ripping off the tab and stripping piece of paint off...the only thing I needed to do was add something to hold the fishing line because it can dig into hands and it's painful. :D

Sorry to hear about your ceiling! Yes, good idea about holding something with the fishing line as it can dig into your skin. A pair of gloves would probably do. Hopefully it won't be too much of a pain to fix your ceiling!

this worked, and bonus I was able to use this aggressively thick dental floss from Walgreens which literally slices your gums for this. It's basically the equivalent of fishing wire.
