Thank you very informative - appreciate the attention to detail. I have a Talea Touch Plus and the microswitch seems very touchy - if I do the check like you said to ensure the brew unit is locked in - I can tell that the microswitch is deactivating even though the brew unit is locked in. I can actually hear it click if I gently pull in and out on the locked brew unit. Of course if the switch is not activated, an error is thrown. Any suggestion on making sure the microswitch is activated when the brew unit is in? Maybe this is a known issue with the Talea Touch Plus model. Thanks again!

Do you guys know how to remove the door to the brew group? My friend melted it when cooking. I have the part but the top post won’t come. I don’t want to break it

Hi espey, melted door - bummer! here's a link to one of our videos which should help: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rmOzmZeanN5qo6s It's part of a much longer video but should get your through replacing the door. I spoke with our technician in the above video about your issue and he offered the following notes: 1. He can watch this from the beginning up to about minute marker 5:30 2. Once the door is off. He will have to remove the hinge bracket from the original door and put it on the new door. 3. I can't remember if the new door comes with the little circular metal plate near the front of it. If not, it will need to be removed from the old door and glued back onto the new door. Hope that helps!

My gears are not aligned and nowhere in the manual does it inform me how to align the gears to put the brew unit back in. I don't know why the internal gear turns when you remove the unit but it does and now now i can not get the brew unit back in.
