Bad Signs: 1. If it is hard to turn one way left or right. 2. Blown Seal causing it to leak badly.

Did you change that gearbox out because you were losing fluid or something else I have a 2011 international and have to top power steering fluid in once a week any suggestions on where it could be going i don't see any leaks

@tonyross5486 On this Chevrolet 3500. I changed it because it was leaking at the Gearbox. I have a couple of Videos changing Gearbox on International. If your Gearbox is dry and shows no signs of being wet. Inspect your Power Steering Hoses.

quick question, does the steering column has lines so you can match too?

There is only two ways to connect it. If you connect the Column incorrectly you will know right away. If you are not sure after connecting. Do not tighten the Column yet. Turn your steering wheel left and right to be sure. Then tighten your Column.

I basically used regular Power Steering Fluid from my local Auto Parts Store.

Hey man, my steering gearbox (TAS65051) has two lines going into it. I want to replace the two fittings for those lines. How do I figure out what fittings it uses and where do I buy them?

Hopefully you are able to remove them from the Gearbox. If so, take them to a After Market Vendor some place like " FleetPride" to match up the parts. Or you can call your local International Dealer and provide them the last (8) of your Vin#. They maybe able to help you.

Yes Sir, most of the work will be done under the vehicle.

It was replaced. Once all the air is out of the system. It turns like normal.

@Cesar Villegas it is necessary for a few reasons. 1. You will need it lift to help connect the Pitman Arm. 2. It will help also with connecting the Steering Shaft.3. It will help to bleed the air out of the steering system.

Yes Sir, Years ago that was the thing to do. But now days it's so hard to find a shop that will do that. If you do find one. I found the price to rebuild one vs buying a new Rebuild about the same.

Yes, If you are replacing the Power Steering Pump. It is very important to do the same.

@@dairleautoclassicrestorati6892 excellent thank you. You seem to know alot about internationals. Getting exhaust fumes in cab do you have to take the dash out to fix the problem? Think it’s comin from by the turbo.

@Ryan White Do not bother the Dash. Check under your hood for a Fuel leak. Check your Crankcase Pressure Tube and make sure you are not smelling etc blow-by. Last but least. Make sure all your Exhaust Pipes are still attach together.
