Joanna Zeiger is a former professional triathlete, Olympian and Ironman 70.3 World Champion. In other words, she's not only crazy fast but she's spent countless hours training and running. In this video JZ along with her training partner Brandon discuss and demonstrate the top three exercises for runners and triathletes must do if you want to run faster like an Olympian.

Brandon, have you considered that one of your legs is longer than the other? it's very normal and gets overlooked often.

Joanna, I'm training for Army Ranger School. My major weakness is running out of breath. I've been practicing the belly breathing. I run the 5 mile in 36 minutes, and trying to get it down to 33 mins without feeling like I'm going to pass out. I primarily breathe in and out mouth. What's a good tip for pushing through the hills (breathing, posture).

Can we do this before a run or first thing in the morning or does this have to be done when your body is already warmed up like after a small jog

These exercises are great to do before a run as a warm up. It will get you loosened up and activate the muscles.
