Thanks so much for this. I appreciate this a ton. And I agree- when I box, I'm never angry. I might start that way sometimes, but it always ends with elation. Boxing has been a great stress reliever, it helps me to focus, and it increases my confidence. When I do something physically strenuous, it unlocks all of the tension that builds up emotionally and mentally. Thanks again!

Thank you!!! I had to split the video into two sessions because my stamina isn’t there yet, but the way you explained was fantastic. the different positions I’ll be in and how to use the tools I have and the why and how. Before this video I had only been in the ring doing basic shadowboxing before this and I thought I would be fine, but I’m sure I wouldn’t be if I didn’t learn this stuff. I am so friggin excited to start sparring for the first time!!

This is such a good fundamental tool for me because I have bone disorders and there's not a lot I can do but moving like this is helpful as long as I'm mindful of what I've got going on I just did about 10 minutes of this and I am sweating like crazy and I'm feeling strong and amazing

Always good to go back to basics. I went back into the boxing gym briefly between lockdowns and did some padwork (with those long foam things, so we were distanced). It soon became apparent that I wasn't bringing my hands back to protect my head. Such is life without contact and/or mirrors.

Question: while stepping to the right the right leg should go first and left should follow? I see u sometimes start with the left leg first while circling to the right, or maybe this is also correct? I was told that starting with left will narrow the base of support thus putting one of balance
