@Bovine Avenger Thats true but consider this. You got REKT in lane, watch the demo and study what you can. Obviously in this case the witch doctor was an absolute potato too. The harder you get your ass handed to you the harder you need to consider what you or your friend/who you were laning with did wrong. This is only for people who want to get better though, some people just want to play against even opponents to pass the time and or have fun. i get that.

I would like to see a game where you take over from someone new at 15 mins, because you ALWAYS win the lane when smurfing, most of us low rank split even. and the lessons you have when winning the lane don't always work when you lose 2 lanes.when smurfing you never reach the mid or late game, and most low rank games are decided in the late game. anything (info) beyond the laming phase is less helpfull as they will not smash the lane like you humbly, a lowly 2k player who has been watching your videos for a while

I was herald 2 (a bit better I believe, I started ~august) when started watching your videos a month or 2 ago. I started with heavy support CM, I play archon-legend games with buddies and usually I'm the best support of the game by far in my opinion (and my legend friend started appreciating me as his support) I pull lanes, constantly spamming Q on enemies, pushing lanes, not really dying "without purpose" or without an objective in my head. So his Sven usually ends up with 20-30 kills 0-3 deaths so if they don't feed both lanes we win. Since we lost so many games recently because of other two lanes I just started training Jug, first creeping than farming patterns, than 2-3 herald games (which can be hard since 25% of players are smurfs and the rest are useless). Last week I finally asked to be safe lane and legend mate mid. First two matches against Archon 2 and 4 I won the lane, the third I lost a bit since I had a support who didn't know what to do, sucking XP, feeding, and pushing creepwaves against 2 stunner enemies etc.... So with a better farming pattern I came back, and we only lost because I had no understansing of the Q spell (and E passive) of slark. But we nearly won despite being in -30 kills (as I wrote we had crappy supports and side lane) So thank you for your amazing content, the basic thought process you taught made me addicted to the game. (Also I have a crusader 4 friend with ~ 2-4k hours, and since he refuses to watch any videos or listen to any advice, instead making fun of my "mechanical mistakes/lack of consistency+not knowing itemization + countering heroes". I think now I make far less mistakes in a match than he does, and also I usually have a far greater positive impact on the match than he who usually bullying me So thank you for your amazing content and effort, before I found you you I watched Jenkins+Gameleap promo but let's just not compare those to your level of making me understand the basic mechanics and logic behind this extremely complex and amazing game.

I learnt so much in this vid. Especially the objective taking order when playing on the dire side, something ive been struggling with. Basically, you want to take the t2 tower and then go take over their triangle, take a fight if the try to contest their triangle and then go rosh.

Nice thing about venom is that in this bracket nobody knows how to play against him. So, just trying to be more annoying makes you win the lane and eventually the game. The bad part is if PA bought some health regen, she could stay alive. Countering venom is pretty straightforward.

Lol I gave my legend 2 friend my account to pull me out of herald 2. I usually play with them, last 2 times won safe lane against Archon 2 and 4, but 50 percent of matches in herald I get my ass kicked so hard that I want to delete the game. He wins I think ~ 80 percent of mid against Archons, but a few matches ago a guardian 1 Lina went against him (he was with his legend account) and in the first 6-8 minutes if I remember correctlyl he died 4 times and I had 3 times as many creeps as he had, despite having a ~legend skilled enemy on my lane, with same support, they double denied creeps and stuff like that, so you can guess how many creeps I had....

Maybe its because I'm a noob, but this game doesn't look like he had much impact. His team stomped the game and the other team gave up. There is definitely a ton to learn from BSJ this game, but I promise if your entire team is getting stomped, this gameplay wouldn't be as easily done. I guess I need to see a hard game to fully understand what to do to keep in a game. Even at 1k I can stomp a game where my entire team stomps and it gives an inflated view of how I played.

It is very understandable that a position other than Safe (a.k.a Hard Carry) or "usually-fighters" Mid, seeing how they influence the game is a bit harder. Let me walk you through what BSJ did (at the very least, what stands out the most to me) in the first 10 minutes if you don't mind. Notice that within less than the first 4 minutes, the 4 kills in his team is from the bottom lane. I do know that 3 of them are Undying's, but as you can see it can't be done without the constant-bit of harrasses and positioning by BSJ. Then Undying, as a good Pos 4, roam to other lanes to crush them as well. Notice that by minute 5 or even 6, the other two lanes are just not so stomping yet. In minute 7, the Undying and other two heroes on Safe got Timber, BSJ got another kill from WD while BH rotates to bot (presumably to catch BSJ) but ends up not getting any kills, any potential solo EXP on the momentarily empty top lane, AND sucks PA's EXP (though maybe not much). To lastly add before this comment became a too-boring-to-read storytelling, this rough 10 minutes (could be much worse in my view to be honest) on the Radiant gets them so much tilted as you can see reflected from their behavior, or really I should say "chats". By this "tilting-point" of the game, that is where the snowballing and stomping really starts to begin. According to BSJ's video, tilted is all about in our lovely low-bracket MMR games and I do agree to it. All in all, that is the "impact" you might be looking for. Also, the chance of getting a hard game (I'm assuming you are talking about the other two lanes besides BSJ's getting stomped scenario) for him is not that high because you don't get stomped everyday while BSJ (I believe) don't smurf that everyday. For the record, I get it, it's meant to be education for us. But man, just think how it feels if you were the pa in that situation. Do you not read the description of the spells? nah i am kidding dota does have a habit of being vague. However the spell says taking bursts of damage every 4 seconds based on how much "health they have lost" since the curse began. The key is that it doesn't say based on how much damage they have taken. so if you heal yourself during it you effectively haven't lost that health.

I then learned about maledict and I must have thought, hey that seems like a very similar mechanic, those probably work in a similar way! Nobody taught me the distinction - that it works by performing periodic health checks and that it deals damage at the inverse of how much health was lost from when it was applied...

i love playing Venom most of the time im pos4 320w-120L ...in 2k total games played. Is such a fun map control hero. They changed his shard now ...i dont really like the new ability...and his dmg from sting it seems is not as powerful as before .
