There was a time when I was always agreeing, always bending, always the one getting walked all over. But let me tell you, that's not a life. So, in this episode, I'm sharing my own journey, my own transformation from a 'yes man' to a man who knows his worth. And the stuff that builds mental toughness, the stuff that makes you say 'no' when you need to. I'm sharing the rules I live by, my non-negotiables, and how they've changed my life. Because trust me, once you stop letting people walk all over you, that's when you truly start living.

Thank you for serving it up plain and simple. I’m a driven woman with the ability to lead. But I LOVE owning all of my femininity and allowing my husband to truly be the head. I feel that deep down, women want a confident man that they can trust to lead them and their family. It’s in our nature. However, if that man proves himself to be untrustworthy, we have no problem activating our masculine energy to get sh*t done. We don’t want to but we will & that’s when respect goes out the door.

It's actually more effective to stand up for others. They said of Jesus on the cross that he did so much for so many people but he couldn't do anything for himself. It is true because of the effect of self-interest. When you defend yourself, you do the same thing that anyone would do, including evil people. When your attackers are attacking you, they are already convinced that you are guilty, and you might just be lying to defend yourself, and when you attempt to strike, you are playing into their hands and doing what they expect you to do, so they feel free to strike when they see you preparing to strike, and they can call their attack self defense. I learned this when I was a child and I was surrounded by other boys who were trying to pick a fight with me. They were shouting names at me and snatching at my clothes and threatening to beat me up. I didn't know what to do, but as soon as I made a fist and they saw it, they attacked and piled on me. I hadn't even made a move to hit anyone. But the fist was the sign they were looking for. When you are already targeted, they are just waiting for a sign or a defiant word from you to attack. In cases like that, you need someone else to step in for you - someone who is presumably as disinterested as a judge. Someone who wouldn't have to fight if he didn't step in. I've seen that work too. You can back down a whole gang, because they presume you must be some kind of serious badass if you are stepping into their conflict when you don't need to. It was an important observation of Jesus on the cross because that was the technique he used to save people - stepping in when he didn't have to. The apostles simply didn't figure it out in time. If Peter had shown up at his trial and spoken up, it would have set them back on their heels. You see similar sorts of scenes in Western movies, when some sheriff is facing a crowd of bad guys. If he makes one move to pull his own gun, they will start shooting immediately, but if a few shop keepers step out of their shops with rifles, the bad guys back down. If you get a reputation for saving other people like that, you will start to find other people backing your play. It is important that other people see that you aren't only defending yourself. It helps too if, even when you are alone, you don't take the attitude that you are only defending yourself, but you speak of other people, like saying: "You are scaring those ladies (or children) over there." or "You are going to piss off a lot of people if you mess up this store." It expands their consciousness to something bigger than just yourself. Or you could observe that someone has probably already called the cops on them. It reminds them that you aren't just worried about yourself.

Hey man, I've played M:tG for a long time, and I've long said that M:tG players are the scum of the earth. Ditch the events and play with your friends, and your experience will be better overall. The bulk of the people at tournaments and events are weak and pathetic, and they'll try to show out and act tough to hide it.

You don't have to react immediately you know. In fact, you don't even have to react at all. In our society via films and what we see around us, this seems like the accepted, normal response. It doesn't have to be. I love this quote - Happiness is the space between stimulus and response.. Very Zen. Very Powerful. Oh yes, that space. We want all sorts of things from other people and they from us, love, money, support, time etc Sometimes, all people want from you is a reaction, to spark something within themself. It is not about you. Maybe they are looking for an arguement or a fight, so they can release their own pent-up energy. They know they can get it from you as you are not in control of your inner world. You are not their punch bag - they can go to the gym for that. Maybe going to the gym and punching a bag would be a great way to let out your own aggression. Stand back, take a look at how they interact with others. See a pattern? Realise it is about them not you? This helps you to not take it personally. If they are not important in your life, and continually trying to get a reaction from you, don't give it. Walk away, give them a wide berth in the future and they will target someone else. If the person is important to you, approach them later when things have calmed down. Can we talk? I wasn't happy when this happened, as I am sure you weren't. Can you tell me what the problem is for you so maybe we can work together to resolve it? Sometimes, things can't be resolved, as the other person doesn't want to resolve it, either on their own or with you, or it crosses one of your boundaries which you won't cross. In that situation, you have no choice but to agree to disagree, that you can't resolve the difference and move on. Here is an example of differing reactions. My husband and I are in the car and the car in front is going slow. My husband - "Look at this idiot, what is he doing?" - getting really wound up. Me - Calmly - "Maybe he is lost, looking for a turning? My husband - "No he just doesn't know how to drive. One minute later, the car slows down, indicates and turns left :) Also, if a car pulls out in front of my husband, does he brake? No. He would rather hit the car to prove he was in the right. Gggrrrr...... Me, I would rather brake, to avoid injury to myself and the hassle of insurance claims and replacing the car. We are all different.

I do all those things… boxing, jits, fires, know how to weld, but I work in a high volume environment, the people are crazy wealthy, used to train 2/3 times a day…I moved during Covid and got super submissive…( I don’t mind being sweet, but I’m struggling) because I want to have the soft energy , want the masculine guy…but if you know all those things it’s part of your DNA… it sucks Bedros… I watch every one of your videos , ) is there anyone you can get on here to help alpha women achieve without acting like a dude? I love your content, but is there a way to soften up?

The advice goes for women as well. The reason he addresses men is because he has more credibility seeing that he is a man and understands that we are built different. There are plenty of alpha women on KZbin, but I think the reason you enjoy Bedros is because he tells it how it is. Take everything you hear with a grain of salt, but we all stick around because Bedros won't ever give us bs 🤝

I disagree with one part of this, if you are dealing with a woman who has taken the masculine frame in your relationship. That relationship is over once you decide to step into YOUR role, how you start is how you finish….power is taken, never given up. Masculine women might fall into their role for another man, but it seldom happens with the simp she was originally with. I don’t see those success stories often. What you do see is a lot of push back and fighting as she attempts to keep her “boy”.
@Firevine

If that relationship is over once you step up, then you're better off.

I disagree with you. If your woman doesn't respect you, it's because she doesn't feel other woman want you. Apply soft dread, stay out later, dress better, get in better shape, ignore her a bit more, flirt with the waitress when you go out. She will then start to see you as value that she doesn't want to lose and will slowly slip into her role. A relationship is only over when she finds a better YOU or you give up on yourself, at the end of the day We are the prize, not them.

@@goodluck this wasn’t in regards to respect. It’s a woman having taken the masculine/leadership role in the relationship. If a woman isn’t “losing“ anything by losing you applying dread or running game isn’t going to be effective. Most men in the USA are broke, overweight, and invisible to the majority of women, in effect “place holders” until a real one presents himself. The place holder doesn’t upgrade to “him” with the same chick he was placed holding with. Usually the dude getting into his square has better options and leaves the chick or the chick leaves because she is no longer the “alpha”, returning to the pool to find another simp to conquer

@@goodluck "Soft Dread" - never heard of that before - hilarious - love it :) I live in the UK and my husband and I recently went on holiday to Italy. Wow, Italian women are flirty. My husband loved it. It started the minute we got on the plane. I was amused by it all. However, in the UK flirting is treated differently, a bit more of a no no. Yes, we all look at attractive members of the opposite sex, but you don't seriously flirt whilst you are out with your partner at a restaurant, that is disrespectful. Surely, if you really love someone and are fully into them, you are blind to everyone else and wouldn't flirt?. Also, we are both the prize for each other, or should I say, a great relationship is the prize, for both the man and the woman. Women have the final say over whether sex takes place as we have a lot more to lose, and are taking the risk of getting pregnant and a man walking away. Women are fully aware that men are physically stronger. A decent man is looking for a woman who will be a good mother to his children. A decent woman is looking for a man who will be a good father to her children. A happy family life is the prize for everyone that puts in the time and effort..
