Rehab was not made available to me, at least not covered by my insurance. The VA offered but only if I left home and went to a different city. I found a place that offered in my home town but I needed to pay out of pocket. I survive on Social Security and don't have funds to pay.

I fell and broke my back at T- 8-9 in 2007. No treatment. In 2015 I had my right hip replaced. No rehab afterward. I sit at a computer around 8 to 10 hours a day. I get up and move a little every 1 1/2 to 2 hours. In August of this year, I fell again and got no x-rays or treatment. I feel like My left hip is in process of needing to be replaced. A lot of pain. My low back is causing me a lot of pain. I can not stand without support, my walker, for more than a few minutes. I use either my walker or two canes to get around all the time. I am 71. I am 5' 6" 300 pounds. A type 2 diabetic under control. I'd appreciate hearing what you have to say.

Dr. Chris Sovey I have a part time desk job currently, and have been experiencing a lot of lower back and neck pain. I’m 21, so I’m very concerned about this. I asked if I could rearrange my desk because my computer is so close to my face. I think this is causing me to sit differently to how I do at home. I have always had back troubles from a young age though, and I’m not as fit as I should be which I think contributes to the problem. I believe strengthening your core muscles can help with posture and back pain. Is this true? Do you have any suggestions for how else I can ease the pain at work? I love your videos by the way, so glad I found your channel!!

Sarah, thanks so much for your story. Besides what is in the video, yes some postural strengthening is always preferred. Have you tried Pialtes? It is one of my favorite methods.
