I'm a 41yo gym rat. Been lifting since 15. I started following you about a year back. And though I still cheat (don't stretch) at times. My quality of life has increased so much by just following some of your advice. I play better with my kids, I don't wake up stiff as a plank and just feel better over all! I sincerely hope you can get enough subs/views to make money on this. You deserve it! Much love from Sweden! ❤

I've always been able to do this, and can still do it at age 54. While I do stretch fairly regularly, increased mobility has never been my goal or reason for stretching. For me it's pain relief. If I don't stretch, tension gradually builds up in a body part, which eventually turns into a mild pain. To relieve the pain, I stretch. I'm glad to enter into old age with this habit that keeps me flexible and mobile.

I've been doing this inspired by your first short on that warm up movement, and it has genuinely helped so much! My hands used to barely get past my knees, and now I can touch my toes with only a slight bend in the knees! I recently started taking pictures and my legs are getting straighter and straighter every day when I attempt to touch my toes!

Love this! I started stretching before & after EVERY workout. My stretching routine is about 5 mins and I do it 5 times a week x2 (before/after each gym session) and I feel great. I can move more freely and easily and just overall I’ve improved my mobility. I can hug my legs bending over and can place my palms flat on the floor. Before I could barely reach past my calves/ankles. It’s therapeutic for me now and I look forward to it 😃👍🏼

I tried these along with you. The deep stretch in the beginning that you can feel down to your ankle had me laughing aloud lol I was surprised. Subbed 👍. I wrecked my ankle and foot this year and had to undergo reconstructive surgery. I was stuck in a boot for months, and had to learn to walk on it again (your toes do so much!). I still have muscle atrophy, but it's getting better as my range of motion improves. I have been in PT for weeks, and all they have me do is 1 basic calf stretch with my foot on a block. Hold 30 seconds, switch to the "good foot", hold 30 seconds, and repeat x 3. I just need more than that lol 😇 Looking fwd to your channel! Many thanks! 🙃

I got huge progress in my hip flexibility after seeing this video and trying some flossing, but I think I got ahead of myself. Had the worst lower back DOMS I've ever experienced. Almost couldn't get out of bed. Getting old sucks, but at least the back will grow back stronger next time I try! I don't think I've hit those lower back muscles in almost 20 years. 😬

Can you make a video about that initial stretch at 1:00? After 1-3 reps of this, I feel a very intense stretch in the hamstrings and can't go any lower, so I can't help but think I'm probably doing it wrong. For example, when you bend one knee, the torso goes a little lower, then when you straighten that knee, do you try to keep that lower height, or do you go back to where you started from? And other mistakes/details like that. Thanks!
