You’re like my coach..even though not direclty but it still seems like it. I take all your advice..listened to all your podcasts, watched your videos, all of westside barbell’s content too. Conjugate/Westside and Matt Wenning changed my approach to training. Plus your manuals are sick…great templates for people trying to train smarter.

I started trying to squat with vertical shins today and didn't feel as bad as I expected. I've been training many, many years and never got very advanced, I was always skeptical of the old westside stuff because it was not trendy, but now I see a lot of people are swinging back that way again, too bad I missed out on my prime.

Hi guys recently bought a couple manuals from Matt wenning and I'm excited I going to start anyway but I want to make sure I'm understanding his lingo within the manual I understand and have watch a good portion of his videos on the basics of the conjugate program but within the programs themselves i get a little lost I don't want to share information that is in the manuals (that's not mine to share) I just want to get pointed in the right direction on what his lingo means thanks

Awesome breakdown to see performance of work in the gym. I use powerlifting and bodybuilding in my workouts since 1984. Im 57 and currently on a bit of comeback due to some chemical imbalances i lived thru in this past year. I weighed 242 last year at one of my state lifts. Now im fighting to get back from this yearcweigh in 212 on my frame is terrible. So i managed to ditch my doctors chemistry class and get back into my home gym. Gained 5 lbs this month and feeling better all swolled up. So i started a small powercycle . 8 , 5 , 3. S for a 6 week bump. On my 3x3 week and i added some pre exhaust work before my bench . That was a toigh go but i dug in got the lifts.

Hi sir ! Please relpy Can i use bands of different tensions just as a exercise variation intead of using it as dynamic effort method which is like 10×2 etc? Like can i use it for max effort method or on my volume days like for basic 3 or 5 sets? Example- For volume work In first 3 week wave, i use very heavy tension for 3 weeks , next 3 weeks heavy and go on till light AND for max effort starting from Very heavy 1st week, 2nd week heavy and go on till light or vice versa??
