I think he’s the most informative and detailed trainer on KZbin, videos are always on point with functionality, basics and variety.

Hi Phil. Thanks for going through the kettle bell swing. I wasn't doing it right...... Also the hammer slam is a great way to work off any stress. I use an axe instead..... I love how humble you are about all your achievements..... Your not constantly blowing your own trumpet. ....You let your work speak for itself.... Your a power machine.... Very impressive..... You can be my bodyguard and best mate anyday.

Phil is one of the most professional guys on KZbin. Love this style of training, been programming this kind of thing more often myself. Need these guys to help me fencing the farm with those hammer slams!

Hi Phil, do you usually program power movements before strength movements, or vice versa? Or does it change depending on programming goals/needs?

Hey phill what are your thoughts on deadlifts if you have bulging discs in your back what type of exercise should you be doing instead of the dead lift or doing it in a different way thank you for the great content learning so much from you
@PhilDaruStrong3 жыл бұрын
This is one of those if it depends type questions but honestly there has been plenty of STRONG people with disk bulges that still lift and perform well. I would work on increasing trunk strength and lumbar stability then slowly work back into DLs

I damaged my back and had sciatica for a whole year. Since then, I tend to do squats and deadlifts with dbs, then I'm not temped to go too heavy. Like Phil said, I worked on trunk stability a lot and range of motion. This must be light and gradual.
