Growth begins with moments of grief or emotional pain. Those moments of despair can be a catalyst to the biggest growth moments of life. A native of Visalia, CA, Kelsey Low is a business coach at The Growth Coach of Central California. She graduated from Point Loma University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Communications. Kelsey produces local community events that highlight experts in the San Joaquin Valley. She manages Visalia Talks & Wine, an event that creates empowering, educational discussions. The mission and goal of these events is to expand the community, their ideas, and most importantly to empower people to live with fulfillment.
Kelsey is an advocate for self-love and empowerment through entrepreneurship and she speaks about this often on her podcast, Joyfully You. She has made a career out of motivating and empowering individuals, especially with her exposure to different cultures. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Growth is a natural outcome of taking the time to experience our grief. Taking this time is not some attempt to have ourselves hurt more unnecessarily, but rather allows us to grow deeply, heal faster, and let our grief go. What a great message, Kelsey Low.

I'm so sorry I know how it feels to be lonely without the person you loved, we've all lost our love ones in death one way or the other, either a spouse, child, family members, or a true friend that meant the world to us, such is life I understand how you feel but life goes on because death is inevitable and we'll all have to face it someday, I lost my wife 3yrs ago to a cardiovascular disease, I felt deeply devastated with grief, but that's the past now, time is indeed the best healer. I'd love to talk to you more if you don't mind! it'd be nice if you just say hi, here is my number +1206-237-2054 or rather you can send me your gmail address so I could reach out on you.

We love this. ❤️ It offers such an empowering perspective on our grief to growth journey. We must feel to heal. Do it through music (you know that's our jam), crying, dancing, talking...but feel it, move it, and keep growing. It's worth mustering up that courage!

It might feel like that at first but I promise it won't take you over (forever). Grief is so painful, but facing it, embracing the love you had for what you lost, WILL empower you in the long run. Emotions are energy in motion - when we let them move through us, we start to feel better and the pain loses it's power over us. Hope this helps. Sending you love, healing & strength

Oh my god she lost her grandma ,she has no clue whatsoever to do with losing close one's ,nearly everyone who has a grandmother loses them .Try losing a child or a partner or parent. The drama is ridiculous. I've lost all of the above by the way and listening to a drama queen like this is laughable.

Her grandma could have been the most significant person in her life. It is not a competition, and not everyone takes the advice the same way or needs the same advice. Please have consideration just as people have considered you during your losses. We need to stop egging and undermining other people. Despite this, I’m very sorry for your losses.

Hey i feel the same....why people make such a drama.... untimely death is the actual grief...we don't have to make drama for the death of grandmother/ grandfather etc who have lived there full life.. actual pain and loss is for those person who have lost there spouse/ childrens, parents, brother, sisters at their young age.
