Dr John has a wonderful soothing voice. If he has to “restrain” some thug at a nightclub and give evidence in court when he has broken the guy in two, a jury would never think he could have been an aggressor or that he would have used unreasonable force in any physical confrontation. @CapoVita6 жыл бұрын
Lizo Joseph it does matter.... but there are also many other factors in play!
@delsonlai21806 жыл бұрын
Lizo Joseph truth, both Bruce Lee and Mike Tyson agreed that size doesn't matter and put it as their philosophy... In martial art and combat sport, size is nothing as important as speed, techniques & mindset...
@YouTubeiscorrupt9076 жыл бұрын
Delson Lai mind over matter! The body can only do what the brain allows it to do. Wing Chun is proof size doesn't Matter, the system was designed by women for that very reason..then again if you believe size matters, than mentally your set up to fail and chances of losing are much greater
@delsonlai21806 жыл бұрын
Austin Johnson well have I said that I believe size matter???

I like Dr. John, he sounds so calm while breaking your bones.. anyway - mythbusting - if you hit the tree with some rug or kind of wrap from closer distance it wont break your knuckles, but .. you can break your knuckles even from further distance if you hit the tree with full speed/power and you dont have enough wrap/rug/cover on the tree. But i really recommend this kind of conditioning, its probably the best one for me
@justgone1232 жыл бұрын
It's been years since I tried it but I used to do a very similar conditioning exercise however it was in replacement of kali sticks in a custom drill. I bet your arms are pieces of iron, I am very thankful you have videos like this!

I actually did this for a good amount of time about 3 months. and about 2 weeks after stopping i fell pretty bad from my longboard and all of the impact went onto my arm. All of the skin around the arm was miscolored from a bruise and i was surprised I didnt break my arm, and then i was really thankful for this video

Master wong who was that amateur in karate? There are multiple types of karate shotokan for one is a combination of hard and soft meaning theres training in hardening too, while kyokushin the most popular is 100% hard in our hardening training every part of the body for striking and blocking is hardened

I love you so much master Wong. You've taught me so much in your videos. I'd love it if you actually taught me in real life in person. I taught myself 6 martial arts and I've been watching your videos for about a whole year know and your just amazing. Funny. And energitic. If I ever met you in real life, I'd call you my sensei.
