In this video we show how to UPGRADE & Replace the fuel pump in your dodge jeep ram or mopar vehicle in this couple diy guide where we show step by step how to take apart the fuel pump basket and fuel sending unit to replace a faulty or dead pump on your dodge Dakota or ram 1500 pickup truck. This should be the same procedure for other ram1500 trucks as well as jeep and other gas tanks that use a similar fuel pump setup.

Good vid. Personally I would recommend replacing the entire fuel line with one piece up to the regulator to avoid crushing the old plastic line when you double clamp it, but I know what a PITA it is to get that regulator out the top without breaking the plastic. Keep up the good work, I've been following the magnum vids since the start.

Yeah getting 1ft of submersible fuel line would work. Only thing is that plastic one seems to have some sort of spring to it but will still be ok with the double clamp. I’ll be redoing mine soon with a return style system in the near future for E85 most likely 💪

Hi, thank you for all your videos !! well done!! i'm in france, i have a dodge durango 4,7 from 2001, i have a few questions ... put an Ethanol-compatible AEM 340 pump with 12-hole injectors, won't the original fuel pressure regulator restrain the pressure? how to increase the fuel pressure if necessary from the passenger compartment? have you ever seen a system to do this? Thank's in advance 😉

Does it require a tune to work correctly afterwards?

It can run on the stock tune but will probably be rich since this moves a lot more fuel than the stock one. We had to pull quite a bit of fuel from the tune 💪
