I can't wait to wash my truck with this once my garage is fully converted. Plan on buying a bottle of rinseless wash and compare it against the P&S i've used a couple times. So far from the P&S I'm impressed at the cleaning power and safe use of it even on a truck that doesn't get washed on a regular. Cool video! Question...why is it considered wrong to have glossy tires? I know that the OEM look is the standard for detailing tires, but a car that comes out of the factory or from a dealership lot is NEVER as glossy as a car that's been professionally detailed like the one in this video. Why is it wrong to want both your car and your tires to be glossy? Please advise.

I'm a bit confused. I viewed an older ESOTERIC KZbin video which suggested to never clay the paint unless it will be machine polished afterward as claying will cause marring and scratching. He suggested that it was better to just chemically decontaminate and have a bit of crunchy contamination left than to have scratched paint. Are your new Perforated Synthetic Decontamination Towels safer than claybars? Love your videos. Thanks!

That does look good, Kris. I’m going to do my handler’s (wifey) 2008 Camry. Now I don’t have the DIY product, but I do have Cerakote. Do you have any experience with that? It’ll be interesting to see how long yours holds up, and if a future second coat will hold up maybe even longer. I’m going to look online to compare prices for the two. Also we’ll be able to compare notes on how each product is holding up. I do a weekly wash on her Camry and her RAV4, as well as my F150. I can do this inside year round so mine will be a realistic test on what can be expected. Looking forward to the upper body coating results. I have some DIY 5 yr and 8 yr ceramic coating. Trying to decide how to put them into use before I use on a customer car. I did do a customer car recently with Blue Collar at their request. Won’t have any useful feedback unless they bring their car back in the future, so we’ll see 🤷 Take care- congrats again on 4000 hrs

I ceramic coated my 2 cars this past month, so I am now on “maintenance mode”. Quick questions: 1) I am using rinseless wash now, but I do have some Maguires Wash and Wax leftover. Can I still wash my cars with that? I am not interested in the wax part…it is just to not throw it away. Would that do any damage on the stack application? 2) Can I ever do any polishing on my cars (jeweling pad for example)? Or would that damage the coating? I am just wondering the do’s and don’ts. This car was 90% clean and wasnt really dirty as mentioned by a earlier comment. Would this method work on a slightly dirtier car?
@Dead__ByteАй бұрын
(Copy and paste of the same reply I made under a different comment) Cameras naturally hide a lot of imperfections and dirt. Plus, if you're avid about keeping your vehicle's paint maintained, you won't have has much to clean. I've cleaned visibly dirty vehicles with only rinseless. No hose, just a 2 gallon electric keg sprayer filled with water and rinseless diluted 265:1. I pretreat with it, do the wheels and tires with iron remover and All Clean while the rinseless emulsifies, rinse the wheels and tires with the rinseless solution, and hit the paint again with the keg sprayer to get more rinseless on the paint. I'll even adjust the atomizer to a heavier flow for more "psi" if needed to knock off debris or dirt, start my contact wash with the legacy sponge, use on small drying towel with ceramic gloss as my drying aid/last step protection or- use the decon towel with ceramic gloss as the lubricant, dry up the paint, ceramic gloss the wheels, and tire shine. Works like a charm and I end up with a clean, glossy, and protected vehicle. No scratches. It's a fantastic method

It's not 21 minutes. It's 42 minutes. Two people, 21 minutes each.

Remove the cameras and talking cuts it down to an easy 30 minutes or less

Great video. Would this be good as first wash after ceramic coating to use ceramic gloss?? How long after a coating would you use Iron Remover versus Ceramic gloss?
@diydetailofficialАй бұрын
Yes, and so does filming. One person can easily do this in 30 minutes
