I remember learning how to do that back in April of last year when I first started collecting fire alarms I had trouble at first, but when I tried on another, DC power supply, it worked, and I was really amazed how I hooked up my first fire alarm and pull station and got it to work. I was using the notifier NBG 10 duel action and a wheelock RSS 24MCW i’ll never forget that day how I hooked up my first fire alarm without a panel or being mounted onto the wall and got it to work

I use a 24VDC adapter to wire up fire alarms individually (e.g. doing alarm reviews). Not only it will work with pull stations, but it can work with conventional smoke and heat detectors and even key switches!

Got a couple of questions (Note I will put a "U" for unrelated to this video) When you say when that AC kills alarms, does that mean you cant use AC devices like the Simplex 4050? (U) Is it possible to convert addressable to conventional? (If so can you do a video about it?) (U) Is there any known mechanical horns or Simplex 2903s in Canada? Is it possible to wire multiple alarms to one pull station or have many pull stations connecting to different alarms? Can you do different codings with alarms? (Like March Time)
