Young man, truly appreciated ur video. We recd the dole bananas way out here in Saipan, commonwealth of the Northern Marianas and I don’t know weather it’s from ur company. I want to tell you that when we were residing in Alaska. Was I in heaven to find the plantains in the Asian store. Don’t worry about the color or when it’s getting ripe. We love it. For the dole bananas, it’s a whole lot better to make banana bread when the bananas are over ripe. The natural sweetness of the bananas comes out. Young man, we truly appreciated it. No waste. Thank you and your company. Heavenly thanks to the costa Ricans for their bananas and their hearts into all the hard work. Love you all!!

@quincho843 жыл бұрын
As a costarican, I can tell you that those bananas are tasteless, we get here the "not export quality" in the markets and they are so much better, more flavor, not chemically ripened, imperfect with brown spots on the skin, like the ones he said should have been tossed, those are still good, the 7 which he said is used for banana bread is still not ripe enough. Industrialized banana plantations are killing the soils and polluting the water sources, they certainly create jobs but at a very high cost for the people, when he explained the packaging process, he forgot to mention they use chemicals to slow the ripening process so it can endure the freight to the ports and overseas to Europe for example, they are just a level down to the pineapple industry which is the worst culture for the environment, it is all a bittersweet feeling, fruit industry is quite complex and not as bright as shown here.

Do you think those warehouses and machines are cheap to maintain? Not to mention the people who make it happen, where will the company get the money to pay them? Lastly, blame the consumer, they're the one's setting up the standards. If only everyone eats a rotten banana. Very unrealistic question borderline stupid.
@yulasharm47233 жыл бұрын
@@tagagawangulan i always annoyed by how 1st world country handle their fruit and vegetables. everything need to be the same size, shape, color. a little bad color or shape got thrown out. unlike other fruit, Banana there is only 1 species, cavendish. weird company need people demand which mostly "perfect" fruit or veggies. however on the other side, some people who would buy any quality, can't because company / supermarket / supplier only provide "perfet" fruit or veggies.

Why? because what my dad is earning is just enough for bananas maintenance. Our bananas are sweet, even rats and ants invade their space. *STRICT IMPLEMENTATION BEFORE THE EXPORTING* - Bananas must not exceed to overdue upon harvesting, because when it's loaded to the container the bananas will pop and breaks. -Must remove defects, only 6 hands of banana can be harvested in one bulk -Grading of Bananas based on it's quality, the higher the grade the expensive one. -there is 13.3 kilograms in 1 box
