How did the mileage change after the regear? I’m trying to decide if I do 35’s, already regeared mine for the 33’s but I over geared it a bit so 35’s would bring my RPM’s down more to where I want them just not sure.

I was at the bottom of hells gate in my 2013 Tacoma TRD Sport with no lockers, just a 2.5” Bilstein lift on 33’s and broken wheel sensor, so no traction control which means I could do burn outs with out the computer applying brakes to the wheels. I was getting ready to see if I could climb that bitch When I see some youngster almost crying and sitting on the ground next to his brand new ZR2 and a broken tie rod in his hand. I was like shit I hope that doesn’t happen to me half way up the obstacle. It took me like 4 try’s on different lines to make it up, but I was so freaking excited I didn’t break anything and still made it!

My '06 got a Free new frame 2 summers back and I had them put on OME 883 springs w/5100's (I'm not sure where they are set-lame I know) and have the LR UCA's stock LCA. In rear is a HeadStrong AAL. Finally my wheel budget filled and now I have SCS F5's in 17x9 -38 offset waiting..... to be wrapped in something..... as soon as my "new tire fund" fills up. And I know I have to get the cab mount chopped or relocated... Thoughts on this set up - as in - should it clear most of the time? Thanks, your video was great.

I really wanted to do a 6in lift and 35s but just couldn't see chopping up a brand new truck. Your smart to get the 5.29 gears with those 35s. I know 35 is the magic number. But, milestar makes a 295-70-17. It's a 34. Well very close to 34. That's what I have on my FJ. Works for me. Gold mountain was no problem for me. Icon suspension and a body chop. That's it. No rub even at full lockers and flex. Just another option.
