Flattening the curve wasn’t to prevent it from happening, it was to make sure the hospitals weren’t overwhelmed completely, resulting in millions of deaths. Now past 1 megadeath in the US, I’m sure glad we did what we could do what we could to alleviate some pressure. I was thinking the same thing about the initial comment though - shows the moment in time this video was made.

Just a tip. You should never clay in circles, it can leave swirling in your paint over time. You rub in straight motions and then again 90 degrees to the direction you started. Enjoyed your vid, thanks for sharing.

Just used for the first time on my 135i was so satisfying to see all the purple bleeding and how smooth the car felt afterwards. Worked great with no scratches so east to use just make sure you go heavy on the quick detailer spray and don’t put any pressure on the clay bar

I just spent 30 bones in the amazon on 1 gallon of Maguiars concentrated detailer and an off-brand clay kit. It needs cut in half with distilled water so you get 2 gallons. Good stuff.

I just got this kit at harbor freight for $18 on sale can’t wait to use it👌I just learn that you do tar and iro remover first before claybar as ipyou gonna rub the iron particles in your car or other contamination then seal it or polish wax first then wax sealant or ceramic spray coating.

I think that's a case by case situation. However, I use my clay bar more than once if the bar isn't to full of contaminants. If I can fold the clay bar a few times and still have "clean areas" then I will still use it.

For you folks talking about circling pattern hes not pushing very hard at all if it was old paint that you had to put elbow grease into then yes circles is a bad idea but hes not hurting anything the way hes doing especially if he does this once a year just gliding over the surface

HI best ever is to use Bilt Hamber clay fr UK they have their own clay mine ! avail in S , M, H grades it is so pure they say and it is TRUE ! you can use just plain water for lube ! ! try it let me know what you think ? and update your video w/an addendum ? thx Jack 🙂

It takes a little bit of time since you have to fully wash car prior to doing the clay bar. I would say at least an 1hr+.

That is correct. Roll it/kneed it into itself. Depending on how much contaminates it gets out, you should be able to use it 1-2 times. But definitely don't use if forever. If it feels gritty don't use it. And if you drop it on the ground, throw it away immediately.

Great how to video , well done . Have never used a clay bar and want try out. I used to want a Maserati , till i looked up the resale values on them. I saw a couple of their models brand new going for 75K to 99K and in less than 3 years going for 25K to 35K on auto trader. The depreciation is almost unreal. Hopefully you bought that used.

Clay bar isn’t necessary for glass. And I wouldn’t use the quick detailed on glass. I would recommend a good glass cleaner.

Well I haven’t used the mother’s clay bars, however I have used both quick detailers. I think I favor Meguiars better. They seem to have more of a “thicker” solution than Mother’s which allows for more coverage. I plan on doing a review of different products like these so stay tuned. To my knowledge you can’t wash them clean. You can fold (and twist) them into themselves to expose cleaner areas on the clay bar. But after a few uses they are no longer usable (in my opinion). There are claybar alternatives like synthetic clay mitts you can use and potentially wash off.

The quick detailer is used as a quick topper to maintain the wax and shine. Or to just quickly clean your vehicle. After clay bar, I would do any paint correction tasks (if needed) and then seal everything with your wax.

Well the purpose of the clay bar is to take out the contaminates from the paint. So, it would a good idea to apply a protective layer to the paint surface. A lot of people do a compound and/or polish after clay bar then add the wax.

clay bars cost WAY to fkin much money for what they are. Synthetic clay blocks/ towels are a better way to go, as long as they are not stupidly high priced either. and they work pretty well most of the time, compared to actual clay.
