I ordered your cleaning solution + new ink cartridges & did everything like you said. It worked fantastic! I was so thrilled UNTIL it printed 2 pages then I now get the same error message..."printhead appears to be missing, not detected or incorrectly installed. Error Code 0xc19a0023." I have taken the ink & printhead back out, reinstalled & it still won't work. What am I doing wrong?

At this point, you may have a faulty printhead. It is more of a system error than a physical printhead error. I recommend buying a new printhead or just buying a new printer altogether. I'm sorry this was not a total solution.

can I have a better look at the ink chambers being flushed before and after?

my printer was printing but the print quality was a bit poor, so i did this cleaning according to your instructions. i thought the inks were over 50% empty, now i have inserted my print head and it says they are completely empty, i now want to align my print head via hp software, which shows that there is an error that either the print head and black and white paper are not inserted correctly. is my print head defective or do i just need new ink as new ink is required for alignment?

But the black Color is at 30% so it isnt fully empty. thats the only color that was changed 2 months ago thats why.

I've been looking through your videos and I'm trying to figure out what tank printer to buy. I like the idea of tank printers but it seem the new "gotcha" is maintenance of these printers. For instance I have the canon megatank G6020 and they got me with the waste pad counter. No replacement pads for sale and no way for the end user to reset the counter. I new I was in trouble when replacement OEM printheads were perpetually out of stock. I'd really like to know what tank printer to get that won't back me into a corner with non-user serviceable parts, end of life counters or ink cartridge money sinks.

To me the most important criteria of any printer is user maintenance and parts availability. I want to constantly be up and running. Then I can start looking at stuff like features and print quality. Because the best quality in the world means nothing if your printer is dead for something stupid like a waste pad counter that you can't reset and need to send in for service.

@@BestPrinters Ok, thanks. I’m leaning toward the 5180 but it might be way more than I need. I basically just need print, copy and Ethernet. Normal home use stuff. I watched your video on cleaning the print head. Is the print head non-replaceable? Can I just keep cleaning it over and over and it will be fine? I don’t mind maintenance, I just want to be sure I can get a lot of life out of a printhead that will eventually die with no replacement option. So basically if not the 5180 then which would you recommend?
