I am 72 and doing these with 3 lb dumbells and after a while may graduate to my 5s. I am in fair shape as I work alot physically around my large home and 1 acre yard. I know i still have many muscles i could strengthen and use more efficiently. Mostly I need more hip flexor work and I use your videos. Thanks, Will.

Thank you for this video & channel. My husband & I (65+) will be planning a workout with your videos. We know ourselves well enough that actually driving to the gym on a regular basis will not happen. Muscle stiffness & loss is becoming an issue. I have non diabetic bilateral peripheral neuropathy & will be scouring your videos for tips.

I am 60 and started dumb bell resistance training at 55 for 3 years ,and then got a chin up bar ,I stoped weights 2 years ago and stick to dead hangs pull ups ,press ups and core ,and some light leg training every day total twice a day 10 mins each ,,and eat only 10/percent carbs ,plenty of meat fish and lots of organic eggs ,I have a good six pack and feel 30 again .

So sad, as we age, our face gets wrinkles & our finger tips get smoother - hence no traction when twisting lid, So using a textured gripper to twist gets the lid off.

After 5 years of playing Bocce I am finding this season I am not throwing the balls far enough. So I came here looking for a way I can confidently increase the strength in my arms, which are clearly declining. I’m going to start with a cans of beans and hopefully progress to weights. Thanks Will. With luck this will improve my game and get me back my usual spot in our Bocce league games.

Hi. Thanks for the videos. Finding them useful. However can you please add a warm up and a cool down for this one. Thanks.

The reason for asking is that I feel that my left shoulder and triceps feel like they’re about to pop after I’m finished and I’m not sure if it’s because I’m not warming up correctly. Thanks.

I’ve been following your videos for a couple of months now, and this one really meets one of my needs (decades of cycling and hillwalking have left me with strong legs and relatively weak arms). Just one question though; I suffer from the odd muscle or tendon strain around the top of my extensor muscle - should I rest the arm completely (not a favoured solution) or do something else?
