Thank you for your kind words 🌸💆‍♀ I'm so pleased you enjoyed the exercises! With the face tension, it takes time to release it and also to get used to spotting it when you tense the muscles during the day, so continue gently and be patient with yourself 😀

Absolutely amazing, what only 10 min can do. Thank you so much, this was exactly what I had needed! Due to caries I had to have a deep filling at the dentist last week and was told, that there´s a 50% chance, my tooth is not gonna survive and I will have to come back for another procedure. Ever since then, I have been so scared and therefore tense in the jaw, that I don´t even know, if the pain I feel is from tension and teeth grinding or from a beginning inflammation of the root of the tooth. Feeling so much better now and I hope, it´s gonna stay that way...

I'm glad you found the video refreshing 🌸 thank you for watching 💆‍♀ If you know the ringing sound is a result of tmj tension, you can massage the cheeks by positioning the finger pads on the jaw joint itself and by closing and opening the mouth slowly massage the masseter muscle to release tension. Thanks for your feedback 💟 glad you enjoyed it ! You can do this any time you feel tension but the question is why is there excessive tension in the face? Try to relax your face muscles through the day with breathe and mindful awareness 💆‍♀ hope this helps!

It could be TMJ related or could be congested lymph pathways. You could try a simple lymphatic drainage massage to clear this.

I have an imbalance in my face due to my bite being wonky on one side. I’ve fixed my teeth via orthodontics so they properly fit together when my mouth is closed, but I still carry a tremendous amount of tension on the right side of my face. The muscle feels really tough, tender, and that side of my face is larger due to the muscle being so built up. How would you recommend I fix this? Do I need acupuncture or dry needling in addition to face yoga/massage? I’m trying to avoid getting jaw surgery but the right side does still click a little and my mouth doesn’t open straight down, it wiggles a bit. I appreciate any advice and love your videos ❤

Hi Brittany, thanks for your question and I'm happy to hear you enjoy my videos 💟 due to so much tension accumulated on the right side of your face, I would first attempt to release the tension with massage before doing any strengthening exercises, otherwise there's a risk of more muscular imbalances being created. Do explore intra-oral massage (buccal) where the tight muscles are released by massaging from inside the mouth, targeting painful and uncomfortable tension from the inside out. There's videos on KZbin for self massage but I would seek out a therapist who could do this in a sensitive way and advise you how to do it at home. From my point of view - tension release first, and then face yoga strengthening once the muscles feel more 'normal'. Hope this helps !🌸💆‍♀
