You're a modeler of amazing ability and appear very honest in your appraisals. The "elephant" in the room has to be the fact that we are talking about a plastic model approaching $2000. The trumpeter 1/200 Bismarck is under $350. I know they are very different kits but. . .

i have the the same model, and yes it is truly a beautiful kit yet to do the rigging. the more you get into the last stages of the model you can't help but smile every time you take a minute for a break. keep going and most important have fun.

I just got my first packs from Agora for the Titanic, wow what a beautiful kit. I am sure this one is the same. How lucky you are for them to send you this one. LOL, I never have such luck, would love to do this one as well, I have the Trumpeter 1/200 version of the Bismark and this would make a great comparison with that one.

Bravo, Alex...watching this reminds me of building meccano back in the 1960s as a child (although a far cry from the quality of the Bismarck build you are currently undertaking). Hope all goes well with the hip.

Just because there's no painting involved doesn't mean it's less of a model. There's a ton of assembly work here. And you're doing a great job with it.

Thank You🙏Good Luck To You Too🍀🍀🍀Yeah the Trumpeter Titanic and also that big German Submarine from Trumpeter are on my to do list.I really like Trumpeter.A few weeks ago I finished the Prinz Eugen 1:350 Scale from Trumpeter and it became very well.However it is a nice hobby and I m glad that I restarted that,still I m amazed how much happened over the 39 years when I had a break from it🙂

This is an incredible kit, but I take one issue with it. The hull shows lines where the kit pieces come together. If I was to undertake this project I would use filler and sand the hull, then repaint it.

Looks beautiful for sure a different way of modeling, are you going to do some weathering? On my side I've just 4 planes to do but I dunno what to start 😅 how do you decide what to do in this case I've another spitfire a fw190 a p51 and a corsair what do you suggest ?
