I watched your videos all the time while I was deployed to the middle east (main reason I bought a delta 5 pro). The only thing I could think about whenever I would be out and about was how great the whole area would be to shoot ELR. Great Video. Such a rich culture with so many amazing opportunities everywhere. The people are very welcoming and I wish I could have experienced something like this! Great Video!

Very cool rifle. I would like to peek under the hood at that system to see how that's working. Never seen anything like that, everything we have available here is a set screw. Shift is fine. Nobody is going to expect not having a shift when swapping calibers.

I’m running hardy rifle barrels for the past few years on competition rifles and my hunting rifles. I have been using PSE carbon fibre rifle stocks and the carbon wrapped hardy barrels in a tikka action. Great combo

Wow Ray! I thought they were taking you on a snipe hunt! I never knew these animals existed. I think I would be afraid of committing a cultural faux pas over there. I've barely left the holler. Aside from lawyers, what's keeping switch barrel rifles from catching 🔥 in the US? I really believe they're the next big thing for hunting rifles. We already have shockingly accurate budget rifles. I hope switch barrels are next.

What scopes do you normally use? MIL or MOA?

MIL always. 👍🏼 I grew up using MOA scopes but the once you start using mils you won’t ever go back.

​@XRING what would be better for precision shooting VHR or VPR? Looking at the Arken SH4J for an AR rifle. My twin 10 year old boys love your channel and would like to get into distance shooting. But on a budget. Probably will never be used for hunting.

@davidnash3417 Hello David, They will both work well for long range. The biggest difference is of course the wind holds available on the VPR when holding over. Some people prefer a clean reticle over a busy Christmas tree reticle but that is entirely up to you. However, you will have more options with the VPR as you can hold elevation and hold wind. On the VHR, if you decide to hold elevation you will need to dial wind as there are no references to use for wind when holding over. I hope that helps. 👍🏼

Been there, didn't do that. 😂 1992 on the dime of Uncle Sam. Lived in Abu dahbi but got to go play in the sand near Dubai. Have to dig up some old Polaroids now for this trip down memory lane😂

Seeing the 3 vehicles stuck part and looking at those tyres its no wonder. Low profile 4wd tyres are not for sand. Not for any 4wd ing really they are rubbish. Need to let them down to like 10psi in sand vs a 16 inch tyre with a big side wall you only have to let them down to like 16-18 psi in soft sand. In my experience

@@XRING highly recommend looking into the ox ranch. They have every animal you could imagine. Plus you can drive tanks, shoot machine guns, hunt for dinosaur bones and native american artifacts. It truly is a sportsmans paradise.
