So what ended up being the solution? I’m having similar issues, even after replacing the carburetor and fuel lines.

The black box with the wire and kill switch. He had to splice the wires.

Nice video,I am working on a cub cadet,I change the carburetor,runs,fine until I hit top end and sounds like the rev limiter kicks in,is this a bad coil the motor starts to shake.Sorry this is a trimmer.Sorry for the long post.

bad coil it is intermittent spark. try the plug first then coil.

sometimes its no spark sometimes its spark till warm then no spark sometimes its intermittent spark like sparking every other time making it not throttle all the way up

Esses motores s funcionam com vela resistiva ,bati a cabeça com um assim efetuei antes a troca d bobina e continuou na mesma então a solução foi a vela resistiva ,espero q ajude a quem procurar uma solução 👍

I just had a guy replace the engine on mine new cylinder new piston new rings got it back oh and new carburetor got it back and could not get the carburetor adjusted right so he told me he had put a banner spark plug in it Will he has a fetish about putting his own spark plugs and other people's equipment anyways he put the wrong plug in it it burnt up coil wire in half The spark plug wire so I ordered a new one ignition module I just got it today he does not respond to any of my texts or phone calls so I'm going to be making the repair myself it really pisses me off because I do gardening and I need this machine to run and I need it to run every single day all day long most of the gardening repair shops here in California are shutting down or will not work on certain gas parity equipment anymore so if you still choose to stay with gas period equipment you're either forced to repair it yourself or go buy a battery-powered one I already bought a battery powered blower which I was very impressed with and very impressed with but I'm not going to switch all my lawn mowers to battery no way and this weed eater is just too nice to throw it away already throw away up gas-powered blower a month ago
