ABOUT EVOLUTIONARY HERBALISM
------------
Evolutionary Herbalism is built upon holistic philosophies of herbalism and nature from across the world. From Ayurveda and alchemy, to clinical herbalism, medical astrology and modern science, this approach seeks to unite traditional models of plant medicine into a cohesive clinical practice. This holistic model of herbalism honors the whole plant and the whole person, and seeks to utilize medicinal plants in a way that equally addresses the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual sides of healing.
------------
ABOUT SAJAH
------------
Sajah Popham is the author of Evolutionary Herbalism and the founder of the School of Evolutionary Herbalism, where he trains herbalists in a holistic system of plant medicine that encompasses clinical Western herbalism, medical astrology, Ayurveda, and spagyric alchemy.
His mission is to develop a comprehensive approach that balances the science and spirituality of plant medicine, focusing on using plants to heal and rejuvenate the body, clarify the mind, open the heart, and support the development of the soul. This is only achieved through understanding and working with the chemical, energetic, and spiritual properties of the plants. His teachings embody a heartfelt respect, honor and reverence for the vast intelligence of plants in a way that empowers us to look deeper into the nature of our medicines and ourselves.

On a different note Anise Hysop makes a spectacular icecream! I gently simmer it in milk and 1/4 cup sugar then add it to 6 whipped egg yolks and a cup of sugar. Then I cook that mix till thickened. I cool it add 2 cups of heavy cream & pinch of salt. Then add all that to my icecream churn for 25 minutes. Then freeze overnight. It’s so fresh tasting and I have to say, I am always happy 😃 after eating it!!! So there you go! Another use!

Interesting that bit about guilt and unhappiness. In TCM, guilt and sadness are stored in Lung. And hyssop is primarily a respiratory remedy.

I've had a lot of success with hyssop. I get jupiter vibes as I can feel my chest expanding and becoming lighter all while feeling more jovial 😊 I have used it for many ailments- mental/psychological, spiritual, & physical. I have had some of the most incredible super natural experiences with this herb. It isnt psychdelic or anything like that- somehow prolific in it's own right though❤ i believe it is because it removes fear❤

There is another plant called Agastache foeniculum, anise hyssop/blue hyssop that american gardeners frequently confuse with the plant in the bible. The two plants are unrelated and agastache isn't native to the middle east. Nice to finally see someone not making this mistake. ❤

Many years ago, before I knew really anything much about herbs, I planted hyssop in my garden. And I laughed every time I walked by it. I decided it was telling me jokes. I have no Isra where that came from, but I keep that in mind when working with it

Interesting. In torah we are commanded to celebrate Pesach (passover) by eating lamb, unleavened bread and bitter herbs. I did not know bitter herbs were all for the digestive system. That could help unlock the dewper meaning of this.

I just found your website and channel- due to a typo while researching something astrological- I wrote "plant" rather than "planet", and what an unexpected pleasure to find you! I have been experimenting with making enfleurages of local wild flowers, trying to get to know the energetics and ascertain astrological correspondences of some of the lesser known or uncharted plants. So finding you was perfect! Thank you for what you do! It is a rare thing to find content of this caliber.
