You could have it curated by the discord after its been made. It'll take a lottle bit of work but I know other channels that do this to handle the huge amount of stuff they get sent

Suggestion...ask your local library to start a Daniel Greene section for donated books and then have viewers send books to that library. That way they are there for everyone to check out and read and you have more room in your place. It would also create more exposure to your KZbin channel.

And yeah, Six of Crows is a rare fantasy book. It's the first Leigh Bardugo book I've read and finished, no idea how her Grisha world works but I gave it 5 stars. I'm not sure if you'll love it just like I do as it is written for YA. Though, overall, it's a good one and there are maps inside, see it. "No mourners. No funerals."

@darraghhoulihan72594 жыл бұрын
Micheal Grant is also the author of that BZRK book you got sent a while ago ago. Gone is a pretty dark story, even in this first one it has themes of isolation and the corruption of people giving powers and complete freedom, probably the darkest is when you see the kids with their hands stuck in the cinder blocks. The series gets a lot darker, but the ending is decent and I think you'll have a fun time if you choose to read it. It also has a sequel series, the first book is called Monster

Pips camouflaged like a ninja among the packages at 30:19 😂😂 I didn't know you haven't read Six of Crows yet! It's one if my all time favourite fantasy series/ duology. It's very character driven and I've heard people say that it took them a while to get into it, but I personally fell in love with the characters almost immediately. Six of Crows was the first book that really got me into fantasy and for that it will always have a special place in my heart. It was very entertaining to watch your slow descent into madness😂

I just started watching this channel a couple weeks ago, and this is the 3rd unpackagjng video I’ve come across. I’m so glad someone sent him a Haruki Murakami book! I was actually thinking as I watched this video that I’d love to hear him review Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World. It was my first Murakami and I think it’s really digestible and a great intro to this particular author’s style. I love the noir themes personally, and most people who have seen Inception can probably get into the plot (though this book came first and is, in no way, the same story).

I’m 52 and I still have the copy of The Monster at the End of This Book that I got as a child. I was an Air Force brat which means when we moved every 2-3 years we had a major clean out so as not to go over our weight allowance. It did get a little better when my Dad became an officer when I was 11. I have very little from my childhood and what I do have is mostly either my plush animals or books. I still treasure this book.

Ooh! You got some good ones! The Forgotten Beasts of Eld is a classic of the genre with wonderful prose and a very introspective story. Patricia McKillip is a master of the genre. The Abhorsen series is one of the best YA fantasies with some great protagonists and a cool necromancer magic system. The Lions of Al Rassan is one of Kay’s best works! A book that will make you weep and keep you in the edge of your seat. There is a reason Brandon Sanderson thinks Kay is the best fantasy writer. A Shadow of the Wind is not fantasy but it is an amazing book. Takes place in Barcelona and contains some mystery and is overall a beautiful story. Part historical fiction, part mystery, and some magical realism elements. The Dragon Prince by Melanie Rawn! I have not read that one but it is on my tbr list. I have heard some great things about this one!
