I keep hearing you say you got it start after you got the garden hose on it you should let your viewers know that if you started your hose before you get the engine running you'll fill the engine with water you could run a jet ski without a a hose on it as long as you're not going to run it for long!

Looks like you got an awesome deal! I have a 2017 STX-15F. Purchased it brand new. Its a blast! I ride the heck out of it during the summer. I have 85 hours on it now. Super reliable ski, have not had one issue with it. 21 hours on yours is nothing, that is just barely broken in. Should last you many years to come.

Great video, I have a 2008 stx 15f candy thunder blue. They are a great ski and they have been in production since 2004. Just finally they did a redesign for 2020 and all they did was just redesign the top part of the hull and added some new features, but left the engine and bottom of the hull the same, goes to show you if its not broke don't fix it.

Your supposed to disconnect the trailer lights before backing it in the water. That will prevent electrolysis and burn up those lights. Also, socks and sandles, never do that either

In case you didn't know there is a 1932 Ford t bucket with a big block and dual quads sitting on top of a blower at the IAA yard Long Island New York, if you are intrested. Frame bent under both doors. The body is near perfect. Don't know when it goes on the auction block. May be a good investment. I saw it last on 10/25/19.

All that fork lift moving it around was non-sense, you guys have a trailer for jet skis. Just bring the trailer to the ski and pull it up onto the trailer with it's winch, unhooked from the truck. Once it's up rehitch to the truck and you're off. Could a saved all that fiddling with the fork lift. Really nice find if you got it sub $1k

Most auction yards won’t let you film. The theory is that someone can be coming in and film other stuff giving someone an unfair advantage if online auction. Then also they store a lot of car thst are still being processed from insurance company’s and can’t have things on film. It’s not so much there being jerks it’s just rules of the yardS

Best smooth water ski out there. Had many, upgraded to ultra lx' s for more storage, longer range, smoother ride. Stx will hang with turbos all day and not eat fuel. Unscrew plugs and start briefly to get water out of jacketed exhaust. Fix fiberglass and will last a good decade!!!CONGRATS

Danny did you & your brother know that you can pull skiers behind that Jet Ski that is why the EYES are on the lower rear of it that & tie downs you just put ropes in those EYES & there you go & it having 150 HP it will do a good job with skiers OH it is a good looking JET SKI

I've had 2 of those 15fs they are awesome all around skies great power plenty fast enough and very stable I loved my 15fs if you do the exhaust mod and change the prop it will run 70 mph all day and pull someone tubing and someone watching

Just minor fiberglass work and you will be all set, the engine on these skis are a beast, I have a 2012 15F with about 84 hrs and havent had any issues with it, me personally, I like the Kawasaki and Yamaha jet skis than sea doos... I'm a PWC mechanic and man, watching the loading of that ski was killing me lol. Poor thing took more abuse during that than it did in it's crash. And that dude driving the lift is a dickhead. Almost like he was irritated that he had to do his job. If I was his boss he'd be reprimanded for beating on your trailer like that too. Sure it's used, but goddamn man. Have some respect and consideration for a customer's stuff. Oh, you should have gotten that spark if you didn't.

When you rebuild your trailer put a chain wth a spring hook to catch the front eyelet on the Jet Ski. Don't trust the ratchet strap winch.

When the chain bounces around it hits the hull causing it chip and leave gel coat scratches and damage.
