Did you see that? LUMI UNDERSTANDS HUMAN SPEECH! At 0:18 Julia calls, and Lumi walks around the base of the coffee table on the side closest to the camera. Julia tells her: "Lumi, it's the other way around." Lumi turns around and goes back toward where she started. Then at 0:30 Lumi walks THE OTHER WAY AROUND the coffee table to get to Julia.

This must represent a real act of courage for a guinea pig! 2:20, I laughed, seeing Lumi at the far end of the tunnel. Brave piggies: Fitz, Lumi and Nugget. An interesting ( and tasty) adventure for the 3 of them. The " old ladies" Gatsby and Lulu busied themselves in other ways. Maybe napping. Or dining. No stress.

Nothing cuter then guinea pigs and tunnels. Put a tunnel down and watch them make a choo choo train to go thru it and inspect it. I wish I could get a big green one like that first part was.

One of my favorite videos I’ve ever seen! My Nugget was also a Rex or teddy, she wasn’t quite as smart, but bless her heart she was a big beautiful girl with a beautiful heart (and fur) of gold! She kinda looked like fits. I miss my Nuggie Bear, Loudest, Funniest, piggy I’ve ever had!

Thats a fun day for everyone! Please be sure to watch in case any of them decide to nibble at the edges or ridges of that plastic! One of my old girls Baby Hannah who passed away a few months ago had a real bad habit of chewing plastic. It was like she was fascinated by it. I had to redesign some things in the enclosures just because of her, for safety. Another thing to watch out for is this forms a choke point where a pig cant get past another, and even among friends sometimes one of them gets in a bullying mood. For tunnels just for play on the ground, whenever I get that kind of packing that is like brown paper formed into a tube, I put that down for them for a day or two until it gets soiled.

Something that may help you with the little ones. The room amplified your voice and your voice has a high pitch. Possibly lower the pitch of your voice. If is still loud in the room speak softy and see if they respond. Good luck.

You know, They make this giant point about how Guinea pigs are social AND you need to HAVE more than 1 AND it's illegal not to rtc and I don't doubt it but seriously, They are Not All that interactive in Their cages!!!!
