I was just there from 20-29 August…after Fred and Grace and before Ida…we left one day early from Ft a organ due to Ida. Wading out to the second sand bar and casting to the deep blue water, I caught some huge lady fish, including one stud over 30”. PB ladyfish. We caught specks, blues, whiting , and blacktips from the surf but it was rough water all but one day. Oh, and lots of hard heads. Lots of hard heads! My SIL took a bluefish that was big for the Gulf…5-7 lbs. Love it there.

Your truly a wonderful and cool dude. we all thank you for keeping it real and true if you will. been following for a few now i believe and really have related to your light'er fishing style and whipping out the "Heavier" gear once in a while. my heavy tackle is a 10ft tsunami trophy II with a tsunami shield 5000 or a penn battle 6000 with 30-40lb braid with up to 2.5 maybe 3oz lures max. I've learned i think more from you and maybe one or two other people to help tune my fishing skills to what i do today. most of the time i use a wright mcgill 8'6" and a 3500 reel with 20lb braid hi-vis to a 20-30 lb leader for light-er tackle surf fishing or for porgy, kingfish, croaker fishing and some lighter lures of about 1/2-3/4oz maybe 1 ouce lures and then the 9ft penn prevail for slightly heavier and then the 10ft setup as listed before for essentially everything else for possibly the semi larger species here in the northeast aka south east of CT. the fish here usually as you know from your cape cod trip striped bass, Blues, and similar are very large and those are the two species i target when using the 9 or 10ft. But sometimes if i want to be sporty if you will ill grab a 7ft gold cup spinning rod 7ft medium i think it is and the diawa bg 3500 and hit the beach, pier and throw the heddon saltwater spook in the about 7/8-1 ounce lure with the front two trebles taken off and cast and moderate speed just retrieve it with the occasional twitches everyso often for the blues and let say its awsome especially when its the 10lb-13 maybe 14lb blue as you have seen up here lets say its fun. But thank you for all your help and time you put in to allow us to see your life and passion for the outdoors, your family and the wonderful life and showing the positive and negative days of said fishing and other things as well. Keep up the amazing work and cant wait to see what this season may bring for you and your family as well as your channel and your company.

Hey there. I've seen some really dangerous advice here. My biggest problem is I try to stay busy and distracted but that never addresses the core issue of my anxieties. The only thing that I have found that helps me is counseling or therapy (whatever you wish to call it) and Christ... Not necessarily in that order. You are no less a Christian or a man if you admit your weakness and seek help. That's actually courageous believe it or not.
@cosmicbonzo75593 жыл бұрын
Them quick clips don’t stop you from catching fish? I try not to use stuff like that and directly tie when I can. If I’m anticipating catching a shark I like to use crimps and steel lead. Cool to see other people’s set ups and how they work for them. Love the content bro. God bless.
