Story 1. I heard this one before and it's been stuck with me since that I've been thinking about OP and her story for a long time so I'm happy to find out that there's another update. I think the one thing that got me thinking about it a lot is how clever she was to decide to take power away from the bully by not showing both the ex and the bully that she had managed to hurt OP or show her that she "won". but it bugged me a hell lot that OP chose to completely keep the secret and let people think she was the bad guy in this. So glad that she changed her mind and told her mom and close friends and lawyered up. Sure, she didn't go about it the hard way to say "enough is enough" to the vile person who seems to be so obsessed with hurting OP, but her final comment about how pathetic the bully was and getting a lawyer and people backing her up for protection was good enough. And it's a good call to tell her future partner about her past cause there's no way the bully would just stop bugging her life when she's done so much so far I think the ex figured it out but he's still pathetic and weak for choosing to not admit the affair or ask forgiveness. if he truly has a conscience (just like OP said), he should be grovelling on the ground she walks on and admitting the cheating and for giving aid to a woman who is obsessed with OP Still think she needs to collect all the evidence for a possible restraining order tho
@tamsel8142 жыл бұрын
I was so frustrated with op throughout most of her story. Hiding the cheating and not wanting a divorce lawyer is just a bad idea.
@shells500tutubo2 жыл бұрын
@@tamsel814 I think her mother set her straight with the lawyer thing. She is straight up naive about custody battles and thinking her ex is going to be cooperative. As far as he is concerned, HE is the victim in all this because she left him for no reason according to her. Add that to him not being able to be in the delivery room and he is going to try to give her hell. I do think he realizes how the bully played him, though, and I'm sure he has gone through their old messages and now sees clearly what she was doing. Sucks to be him.

Oof. That second story is a recipe for a toxic af relationship. Even if both of them are better people than they were in high-school doesn’t mean they’ll be good together. Bully-to-lovers is entertaining to read as a novel, but life ruining in real life. Run, my guy. You’re going to find your trauma is unresolved at the first argument and those old wounds are going to open right back up.

Exactly, plus she knows she is hot and just expected him to I Stanly forget his past and drool over him. Cause no one who bullies someone get their ass beat for the bulling just walks up to them decade later and flirts, not just flirts but asks why they didn't ask them out? And she won. Cause if she was just average looking he wouldn't have been so nice during their interactions. Which shows if your hot you can get away with anything.
@Uneclipsed2 жыл бұрын
@@kylaluv8453 I agree he forgave her too quickly because she’s hot. There are two reasons she’s attracted to him. She wants to continue holding power over him-especially since he’s now in a powerful job-or she’s genuinely remorseful but in a self hating kind of way, and is looking at their mutual attraction as both forgiveness and punishment. If it’s the first, she hasn’t actually changed, she’s just not as obviously toxic. If it’s the second one, anything he does to her, they can both justify it as she “deserves it.” Which is just going to make it bad for both of them. Combined with the speed at which their relationship is happening? Guarantee one or both of them are going to start throwing hands at some point in this relationship.

I think I've seen the first story elsewhere. I'd have sent evidence to every family member of his. Maybe kept the cheater and the bully in the dark, but his family? Their mutual friends? I'd have sent all the evidence so that everybody knows. And have gotten a lawyer. I wouldn't give any wiggle room for the cheater and the bully to paint themselves as the victims. Edit: Oh FFS, she's still getting shared custody with the cheater?! Come ON, OP, this is EXACTLY why you should have told everybody that he's a cheater!

Story 1- now that she is in divorce proceedings and has effectively told her bully to suck rocks, she can now tell people, if they ask, that her stbexh had difficulty with monogamy. That is all she needs to say. And of course her lawyer needs copies of all those messages. She is facing a lot of nastiness ahead with the baby and custody that she seems oblivious to. The only way you can is if the married person deceived the other party then that'd be one heck of a long hidden affair. But now she doesn't want him? Please. That leads anyone to believe she liked the thrill of it but once it has no affect, toss it. Again unless she didn't know as a whole. It is hard to honestly think this person changed. I don't know what hurts a cheater's ego more in this scenario : The partner they're cheating on breaking up with them cos they're "not in love with them anymore" (whether or not the cheated partner actually found out about the cheating, or whether or not the cheater knows that they know), Or the fact that the side piece only showed interest and slept with them to use them as a pawn in their own selfish game against someone else. Whichever one hurts the ego the hardest, both take the cheater down a peg quite considerably.

I honestly like how op handled this, she's leaving her ex high and dry and the bully won't get the satisfaction of hurting op by stealing her husband when op just broke the line between them and that will likely drive her insane. Now the only thing I do know is, and I am going by the laws in my state however I do not know where she lives so I can't say the laws of a restraining order she would need. Where I live however she would need a lot of notes and actual evidence of harassment and possible stalking or violence. She honestly seems like she's not only crazy but in love with op and it drives her crazy that op won't look at it her way. Either that or she feels like op is what completes her fully and will stop at nothing to get her to full fill her again. This is just my take on it and it could very likely not even be close to right and it might just be something else entirely
