yeah, when OP says her ex has no right to her daughter since it's her body, I facepalmed so hard; that's not how custody works - and he's still the child's father! Usually lying, cheating jerks will try and say she cheated on him. seeing how op's mom was quick to assume that...(heck she probably thinks the baby is not even husband's)...imagine if he told her a lie he will either say she was sleeping with several men and/or started seeing bully after the divorce (or when they seperated) we have seen stories where the cheating ex told their lie to everyone because op didnt want to "hurt their cheating ex's life". one story op told ex's mom who was a good woman. they split because they fell out of love knwing she hated cheaters and if she caught wind of her son cheating...would dis-own him. when he found out they spoke, he told his mom...op cheated by sleeping with several men. mom took it as expected. calling op a whore, etc till op provided proof. then mom apoligized and disowned son (and entire family went nc for being a cheater and trying to destroy op's reputation)

2. Story: "Why did you never ask me out?": at the latest that would've been the point when I would've lost my cool and asked her who she believes she was in highschool other than a pathetic, disgusting pos if she changed AT ALL then it was probably because she got beaten the shit out of her, which would be something she deserves for tormenting people, at some point someone will snap and take revenge into their own hands the people around OP only see her body and say "hot", but no one sees / knows how she is from the inside, but OP does know imo it is also possible that she has become a single mom with financial problems and sees OP as an easy target because she knows about the buttons to push, to feed her and her child (thats what happened with a female bully of mine, randomly messaged me on fb many years after highschool) Update: as I said before, she got what was coming for her, she invited the rage of people onto her and someone not popular will inevitable take the "beat up"-route, which is exactly what happened, atleast that served as a wakeup call for her and it seems like she became a (more or less) decent human being

@@mottorcyle5052 4 weeks is literally when you find out you are pregnant if you're actively trying to conceive. Maybe slightly earlier is possible, but the zygote has to implant for the body to produce hormones to pop a positive test. That's the day you were supposed to get your period if you're super regular. There's a significant chance the implanted zygote will fail. In a healthy marriage you could share the news with your spouse, but finding out your husband is cheating might screw that plan right up. But OP, kindly enough, did decide to sit down and talk to her about it and brought up the topic, and it sounded from his recap that she immediately did own up to what she did and how wrong what she did was, and apologized. It was good enough for OP to understand that she did, in a way, pay for some of what she'd done and made sure to avoid him afterwards (however cowardly that path was). And the fact she never said anything is golden. Even if the husband found out the side chick finally told her, he can't prove that OP knew before she started the divorce proceedings. He can't say anything about it either because then, if their mutual friends who didn't know but have morals, would shun him out. The friends who already knew from OP would probably just phase out of his life, at least I hope that's what they'd do just to mess with him further. He will also always be wondering if any new woman that's interested in him has a hidden agenda. I can't say I feel sorry for him at all.

I never felt it was particularly fortunate that most of my HS bullies are dead as a result of their own poor choices, but the level of obsession on Story 1 OP’s HS bully makes me feel lucky none of mine are alive enough for me to find out if they are the same breed. As much as I can never forgive my abusers even in death, I do still find it a tragedy. There are blameless people who are left with the hurt of the loss, and I can empathize with that. Most of them died for drug, DUI and violent crime/gang related reasons. A few were in accidents that weren’t their fault. I do feel sad for those who loved them, but I don’t particularly pity the dead tormenters from my past.

Story 1. I heard this one before and it's been stuck with me since that I've been thinking about OP and her story for a long time so I'm happy to find out that there's another update. I think the one thing that got me thinking about it a lot is how clever she was to decide to take power away from the bully by not showing both the ex and the bully that she had managed to hurt OP or show her that she "won". but it bugged me a hell lot that OP chose to completely keep the secret and let people think she was the bad guy in this. So glad that she changed her mind and told her mom and close friends and lawyered up. Sure, she didn't go about it the hard way to say "enough is enough" to the vile person who seems to be so obsessed with hurting OP, but her final comment about how pathetic the bully was and getting a lawyer and people backing her up for protection was good enough. And it's a good call to tell her future partner about her past cause there's no way the bully would just stop bugging her life when she's done so much so far I think the ex figured it out but he's still pathetic and weak for choosing to not admit the affair or ask forgiveness. if he truly has a conscience (just like OP said), he should be grovelling on the ground she walks on and admitting the cheating and for giving aid to a woman who is obsessed with OP Still think she needs to collect all the evidence for a possible restraining order tho

@@kylaluv8453 I agree he forgave her too quickly because she’s hot. There are two reasons she’s attracted to him. She wants to continue holding power over him-especially since he’s now in a powerful job-or she’s genuinely remorseful but in a self hating kind of way, and is looking at their mutual attraction as both forgiveness and punishment. If it’s the first, she hasn’t actually changed, she’s just not as obviously toxic. If it’s the second one, anything he does to her, they can both justify it as she “deserves it.” Which is just going to make it bad for both of them. Combined with the speed at which their relationship is happening? Guarantee one or both of them are going to start throwing hands at some point in this relationship.

I don't know what hurts a cheater's ego more in this scenario : The partner they're cheating on breaking up with them cos they're "not in love with them anymore" (whether or not the cheated partner actually found out about the cheating, or whether or not the cheater knows that they know), Or the fact that the side piece only showed interest and slept with them to use them as a pawn in their own selfish game against someone else. I honestly like how op handled this, she's leaving her ex high and dry and the bully won't get the satisfaction of hurting op by stealing her husband when op just broke the line between them and that will likely drive her insane. Now the only thing I do know is, and I am going by the laws in my state however I do not know where she lives so I can't say the laws of a restraining order she would need. Where I live however she would need a lot of notes and actual evidence of harassment and possible stalking or violence. She honestly seems like she's not only crazy but in love with op and it drives her crazy that op won't look at it her way. Either that or she feels like op is what completes her fully and will stop at nothing to get her to full fill her again. This is just my take on it and it could very likely not even be close to right and it might just be something else entirely
